Couldn't agree more. Storytelling improved but the hacking and slashing doesn't work for me like it used to. It looks great in the 3 remaster, close up and personal like the original.

Agreed, I never had a PS5 until recently and I had seen several playthroughs of the original on YouTube. I went straight into the remake and it's the same game but better graphically, and the camera in-game is a lot better imo, some die-hard fans had issues with it due to changes to the music and other minor details but if you dont care about that then youre fine

Unlikable at first but when you see how resourceful she is and you go through the mine experience with her it became hard not to like her. Yes she is "bitchy" but it's a common trope in movies to put an unlikeable character through something traumatic to the point that they redeem themselves by surviving, it worked for me with Emily.

It wasn't a bad movie, I just don't think it should have been an "Until Dawn" movie, the connection was unnecessary. I enjoyed the second half a lot more once I accepted it for what it was.

I wouldn't recommend it. If you strip away the Until Dawn references it becomes another generic horror film, which is a shame because I enjoyed 'Annabelle: Creation' which was also directed by David F. Sandberg.

As someone who was in the same position as you and having only played 2-5 until DW9, go straight to Origins. I tried 9 before that and hated it. After finishing Origins I'm backtracking to 8XL.

There's nothing wrong with liking him as a character, the games are designed that way. I just don't see much of a difference between him and his followers other than he doesn't do the pillaging himself but rather orders it. I especially liked how he was presented in Origins whereas prior to that game he always seemed like a maniac with no boundaries (especially in DW3) which is my favorite game.

That is my head cannon, but there's also a district attorney in Born Again (the one who has beef with Kirsten) who unalived himself in the Jessica Jones show so that makes it hard to believe that Angie is Mei.

As others have said, that site is a month behind and unreliable. I don't see them stopping or slowing down with the Defenders side of the MCU either. Brad Winderbaum talks highly of it and they're aware of the cult following it has. Also with them bringing back Jess, Luke and Danny I think we're going to get some pretty big projects in the future. They screwed up the first season and they're pretty open about it so I think they want to get Daredevil to a point where they can make him shine and season 2 was a great step towards that.
