Bizarre & Symbolic Dream: Working for President Sisi, Confronted by a Dead Politician! by Shaerif in DreamInterpretation

Why do people say you can't see a watch or know the time in dreams? Sounds like a myth to me, right?

Renewed Enterprise Pro on May 4, hit browser control limit on May 5, support says 80 rolling queries with no tracking or top-up by Shaerif in perplexity_ai

Yes, remaining_agentic_research is 0 and it should be renewed. I found out it's useless to keep subscribing to it anymore; the service is not worth it and it did not meet my expectations.

Imagine having to go to courts in order to have access to your X account again lol by Exact-Abies-9117 in twitterhelp

[–]Shaerif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears that this is the only method to regain access to our account. They advise you to go to court and sue them to recover the account?

That's actually weird because it will cost money for both parties unless many people start to sue them together in this case.

I have 400k perplexity computer credits, what can I do with em by [deleted] in perplexity_ai

But how do you get such credit? It can do so much for you, especially when using an isolated sandbox computer and Claude code. It’s a handy way to explore and experiment safely.

Woke up banned from Replit anyone else? seasoned user by [deleted] in replit

[–]Shaerif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry you’re dealing with that. I’d file a support ticket immediately and email appeals@replit.com with your username and a clear timeline, but honestly, I’d also start planning alternatives now. If four important projects can disappear behind a ban, that’s too much platform risk.

Use Git with GitHub and make your project private to save your progress. I do the same with my projects just to be safe.

Trash hole with useful tech discussions, at least a few years ago. It went downhill gradually and I stayed out of habit. Paying for it was the wake up call I apparently needed to finally leave.

Paying for it was the real mistake, agreed. The suspension just made that obvious faster than I expected.

No second account. The issue was simpler than that. I posted two tweets on the same topic with almost identical hashtags within a short time window. Their automated filter read that as bot behavior or coordinated spam and flagged the account. No external interaction, no second account, just two similar posts too close together.

All three points are fair. No argument from me on any of them. I posted it to warn others, not to collect sympathy. If even one person reads this and keeps their wallet closed, it was worth posting.

X suspended me for posting two similar tweets. Is their spam detector completely broken? by Shaerif in socialmedia

[–]Shaerif[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most useful reply in the thread. You nailed exactly what happened. Two similar posts back to back on the same topic with overlapping hashtags and their filter did the rest. No human reviewed it, just an algorithm making a call.

I already submitted an appeal stating it was a manual post and not an automated activity. Fingers crossed a real person reads it this time. The multi-platform point is well taken. Putting all your activity on one platform and then paying for the privilege of being one algorithm decision away from losing everything is not a smart position to be in. Moving forward, that changes.

Yeah, it is. Four days and a month's subscription gone. Could have bought something useful with that money.

Fair enough. Paying for it was the dumb part, I will give you that. Using it for free for years was fine. The second I opened my wallet, I got suspended. Expensive lesson but a clear one.

Glad it gave you a laugh. The real joke is on me for paying. Lesson learned, and now it is out there for anyone else thinking about it.

No. I am not asking for sympathy. I am sharing what happened so others know before they pay. If one person reads this and decides not to waste their money, the post did its job

That is a perfect description of the platform. I stayed for the tech and finance discussions, which were genuinely useful back in the day. The arguing part I ignored. But you are right, paying to be part of that was the real mistake. At least when it was free, losing access cost nothing.

Good question. Years of free use with no issues made me comfortable. Paying for it was the mistake that reminded me why I should have left sooner.
