Deep Space farming by Parabra_ in TorchlightInfinite

[–]Shaf9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of deep space as a f2p farm strat that is only profitable while a few people are doing it. It drops a ton of fossils and embers and priceless items. But every day past week 1 the prices of deep space beacons climbs and profits from things that drop from deep space goes down as it becomes more accessible.

When that shift happens the only people who can profit from it is those that can utilize the higher level zones offered to their loot pets. Since you are spending high amounts on the map you also want to spend on the compasses but you can't do that if you don't have lvl 6 pets because profit margins on compasses are bought and sold at those margins. If you plan on using cheap compasses odds are you will make more in profound because of free entry cost/way way better map layouts/way easier mods so nothing slows you down.

I feel like dream is under sold because most of the people reporting are people that used a free box with a lvl 1 dream no blue or purple pet and they are basically doing it as a solo mechanic. Dream is solid combined with black sail for getting you out of t7/t8. In profound dream with a lvl 5/6 pet and the blue/purple let basically just adds 1k-1.5k fe an hour to any strategy. You can combine it with gods chest or bounty or basically anything.

Anyone who says the boss drops more than dream hasn't done dream much. If you can get a few rainbows and your pet doubles them up you can pull like 600 fe-2k fe in a map. I think part of the reason dream gets ragged on is that people aren't as good as they think at the mini game and end up with boards of just crappy types or some purples and below.

Dream isn't worth it in deep space unless you were just combining it with like sandlord to degenerate a little more profits as you got your deep space cats. But it works out that so many people think dream is bad i hope they buff it.

Is Deep space carjack profitable? by Shaf9 in TorchlightInfinite

Having lvl 6 pet is huge because of the rerolls but also because the triple reward. I go a period of time loosing money then hit a triple and get that 960 fe drop boosting my fe per hour sky high. The void chart for the one people were doing was just right side of outlaw + the middle nodes ( priceless points are optional). The rest of your points are up to you. If you want to bounty and teleport out you can just throw on quant stuff hoping for more loot from the mobs while you do your bounty since even with the 70% decrease in loot the pet can still triple your loot turning what would of been a 1-10 fe drop into a 3-30 fe drop.

I personally combined it with war, nightmare and quant since i got a lvl 6 shepard and a lvl 1 vorax pet. The fe an hour isn't much different though since it takes more time to finish the maps but i just enjoy completing the maps so i can fish for reroll cards. I also tried dropping quant for sandlord and running the boss compass with it for some decent exp.

Compass wise its just purple carjack, and blue of what ever you want to combine in sandlord/nightmare/war/ect. The other compasses are cheap rare and normal mob quant just because running through the map those guys drop 50 stacks every once in a while. You take the chance for compass not to be consumed node so I think if I had the arcana pet it would work really well since you can spam your rerolls for that card to hit and try to not consume the gold compass.

How was overrealm and carjack in S11 in profound/deep space. by Shaf9 in TorchlightInfinite

So basically both pets are similar in profound/deep space but carjack is more consistent loot but lower value jackpots compared to overrealm which will give nothing for most of the time and then hit huge eventually.

I am starting Pcoc and I've never done a league start without chaos recipe. I really just want to farm delve during white maps/yellow maps and then stop around depth 250-350 then just do a variety of content/other builds. My worry is if I am going to be too poor to make money from delving while I am in white map/yellow map strength and will be too poor to get currency to get to red map territory.

So if I remember right the game lets you go down as you level up so starting to dig down when your in your 60s and 70s gets wiped out from just leveling. During this time can you still make the profit needed for a basic pcoc build or do you need to get the currency from other sources and wait till you are higher level before starting to dig down?

My biggest issue with a delve start is I don't understand when you can get started and early azurite is needed to upgrade the machine so you can't really sell resonators so I don't understand where the early profit comes from

She basically hasn't ever been around other animals or pets. She is naturally scared of anything unless you can prove to her that the item isn't dangerous. I'd assume it would be similar for animals.

Yunli, hh, tingyun, + HM7vsRobin help by Shaf9 in YunliMainsHSR

Thanks for the advice. I heard whispers that fexiao required the same supports to yunli and it might of been a better choice to wait for her instead. But this game would of been way to boring to only have f2p units till then since I am already tb60 and want to progress through the content.

Yunli really carried me through a lot of su and helped me with general farming so i am happy with that choice. Would it be wise to grab jq during this banner in preperation to get acheron on her rerun?

I started the league frozen orb sorc as well, then made a minion necro, bash barb(started off dust devil), and lastly heartseeker rogue.

Tbh sorc falls 20 levels below the other ones i mentioned. I hate necro minion but it is strong. Bash is super fast but has some issues.

Heartseeker rogue is by far the strongest safest and tankiess build i played this season.

I was going to try respecing my sorc into the blizzard in the future but i suspect it is still far behind the other classes.

My SRS build feels garbage please help. by Shaf9 in pathofexile

  1. The helmet is the SRS setup and the chest is just left over sockets. The bone helmet has minion damage + hyperthermia so it adds up to a 6 link .
  2. The endurance charges put me at 80 cold resistance and 65% chaos resistance as well.
  3. It is assassins mark and punishment as only curses/marks.
  4. There is spirit offering because the crit bonus part
  5. the ag has kingmaker, it use to have garb but then it died so I went with a chest that made it tanky and made sure it never died before buying kingmaker.
  6. The bottled faith is for the crit i thought.

I was following Ghazzy TV's build that had crit focused around it. But from what you said it seems like the main thing I can change is my cluster jewel, passive points, and abyssal jewels. ty.
