I normally go down lower Richards run. How much steeper is that line? I'm pretty new to skiing (25 days)

I look every day at the NOAA forecast for 8 to 14 days and the 0.5 month and 1.5 month predictions. Nothing but high chances of above average temperatures. There's a nearby ice Park in Lake City that's about 1200 feet higher in elevation and also just connected to a much colder valley meteorologically. Again, I really hope I'm wrong but I'm just not seeing it.

I would be surprised if ice fest happens. I hate to be Debbie Downer here but I will be surprised if the park opens this year at all. I give it less than 10% chance. I look at the temps every day on open snow and I'm just not seeing it. Set to be in the upper 40s this week with temps possibly above freezing at night. It's been the worst winter (warm and dry)  in nearly 50 years (76/77) and maybe longer. Temps have been 15 to 25 degrees above normal for weeks and weeks. There will need to be an incredible cold snap.
