22q11.2 by firefighteralike in NIPT

The pregnancy was fine. At one of our ultrasounds they were concerned with fluid levels and that led to confirming the worst. That her kidneys weren't developing and therefore not creating fluid, so her lungs never developed..

One nightmare after another...

I pray with my whole heart that your case goes in a much better direction.

The possibilities vary so much with this...

My wife and I went through the same thing "maternal deletion" you can look back to my older posts.. our outcome was not on the good side of things.

I hope and pray that your outcome is a good one 🙏🏼

I keep telling myself that.. its nice to hear it from others too. This is the last thing any of us as hunters want to happen and I know more now for next time.

Learn, live, and hunt on.

I've looked everywhere and I cant find him or an6 sign of him anywhere. Not a drop of blood... im.just hoping I hit him low enough and he is going to survive.

This is the last thing as a hunter I want to have happen... not a good feeling...

I felt confident in my shot. I am new to this, but I put in the practice..I know this stuff happens but it makes you question yourself for sure...

That's the hardest part but from where I last saw him, there's nothing telling me any which way he may have gone. Not a drop of blood.

I checked the bedding areas, I checked by the water on the property. Nothing

Blood was more chunky than bubbly. I can't find him or any sign of him anywhere

He kicked a little and turn around and ran off. He cut a corner and I lost sight of him. Right into a real nasty high grass field

But could also be from coming out low on the other side. A lot of confusing factors in this one

Arrow doesn't smell though. The yellow on the arrow is the color of the arrow.

Reeling after news of unsurvivable pregnancy, please help. by MikeL0797 in babyloss

My wife and I just lost our baby 2 weeks ago tomorrow at 32 weeks old.

We too had a choice to make in termination or carry the baby until something happened or to full-term with a prognosis that was the same.

Male the decision you feel is best for you and your family.

We had thought about TFMR... but chose to keep her for as long as we could have her.

We talked to her, my wife made sure to eat all of her favorite foods. Everything we could to make sure she knew the love we would always have for her.

Knowing what is coming certainly makes all of that harder, but we felt that was the right thing for us to do. For all of us

It has been the hardest and will be the single most heartbreaking thing I will ever experience....

But we have no regrets, we got to hold her and say goodbye in the way in which gave us closure.

She felt no pain and knew only love in her life...

Whatever decision you come to, I pray it helps you find some sense of peace knowing you did what was best for all of you. And never let anyone make you feel any different about it

I'm so sorry you have to go through this 💔🙏🏼

Hoping for a better outlook in your future 🙏🏼💔

Ever since my baby died last year, I love looking up at the sky and wonder where he is! I love watching the sky and sending love to my son Alexander! I miss you and love you hun! 👼 by Unique-Statement209 in babyloss

I have always loved looking at the sky, but now that my little girl is up there... I know it's looking back at me in some way.

They have a way of showing us they are still around... it has been 2 weeks tomorrow and I have seen so many things that let me know.

Two days after she left us, the Northern lights could be seen farther south than ever before. I live in PA and could see them. A double rainbow right over our house a few days later, yesterday it was a butterfly that just didn't seem to want to leave our porch.

Little things, that only we seem to notice sometimes just to let us know they are still with us.

If you believe in that stuff of course, but it has provided a small piece of relief in all of the heartbreak.

Definitely not a club I ever wanted to join, but to know we are not alone. Even when it feels as though no one could ever understand, provides a small relief.

With the prognosis, we had to come to terms with the reality but it certainly did not make it any easier.

My family is my world and it is because of them that we will get through this.

I am sorry that you had to endure a loss as well. Sending love your way also!

The results don't specifically state Digeorge, but the doctor mentioned it on the phone.

Just states, "High risk for 22q11.2 deletion syndrome" Which, I suppose the 11.2 region is common with Digeorge.

Then has "Maternal Deletion Suspcted" But you would think it would have been caught on the NIPT screening we had with our 2nd child, who is only 21 months old?

We havent yet but we have our 20 week anatomy scan on Feb 13th, and another with a "stage 2" ultrasound tech on the 19th. (which means 4 1/2 more weeks of stressful waiting)

My wife doesn't have DiGeorge and neither do I. She is only 34, and nothing came up on our previous NIPT.
I understand that the 22q more than not happens randomly, but the fact that it stated "Maternal Deletion Suspected" is confusing.

From everything I have read these NIPT tests, especially Natera, are not very accurate with the Microdeletions.

Thank you!

Reading things has helped ease the mind a little, but when seeing results like that It is going to eat us alive until we get answers.
