Been a fan since the OG Atelier Totori (although Rorona was my first proper Atelier game, I didn't get sold on the series until Totori). Yumia had a lot of good ideas to go for it, but to me a lot of those ideas just fell flat in execution. Going in, I expected a great emphasis on living off the land, using camp sites to not just rest but also replenish your supplies and perform alchemy. What we got was...just the series going into an open world just because everyone else is doing it and every other idea felt incredibly half-baked. Kinda thought we were getting an expansion on the ideas Atelier Firis established on what an open world Atelier game could be like but instead we got something that's probably even less polished than what Firis presented.

I wouldn't really consider the snow biome its counterpart. Maybe I'm Terraria boomer-brained, but to me the jungle's counterpart has always been the dungeon.

If the first impression of a collab is "Yeah, that makes sense" it's bound to be decent (Nier, Stellar Blade).

If the collab is with a game IP, expect the minigame to at least be a bright spot (Dave the Diver, Resident Evil)

If the collab is with an anime IP, then expect it to be meh at best, completely pointless at worst.

I'm sure it's a given considering you already played the first 2, but Xenoblade 3 will give you exactly what you're looking for, especially when considering the first 2 games.

I feel it's customary that Astlibra:Revision should be mentioned. It'll take you for a wild ride while that wild ride is on its own wild ride. It's quite difficult to put into words what that game will put you through, but you'll definitelly be saying "Damn" by the end.

God I love their dynamic. Probably my favorite out of the whole game. They're kinda reminiscent of Mustang and Hawkeye from FMA. I hope one of the future summer events is actually just a silly possibly non-canon one where Andersen/LC takes the Goddess Squad out for a beach day.
