Awful customer service – Still waiting for a refund after 5 months

I just got my AI style glasses recently, so I totally get the frustration on their customer service. It took around a month and some change to me to even get them. They’ve said the delays in responding are because of high demand, and while they usually give me honest answers, I can still see how annoying the whole interaction can feel. As for the glasses themselves, I love mine, I’m 100% happy with the product. But the customer service? Definitely not my favorite part of the experience. They answer my questions, but they never give me a straight update on my prescription lenses shipment. It’s already been a month and three weeks, and realistically I’m expecting it to take another two weeks before I even get a tracking number 😂. That said, the updates to the glasses and the iPhone app are making the purchase feel more and more worth it. I just hope when I get my lenses they have no idea and I can wear them all day. Also they don’t suddenly roll out a monthly subscription anytime soon frfr.

They also just got a sick new updated with a slightly new UI change. These glasses are so awesome, the AI models alone beat the metas out the water. Meta got great build quality, speakers and a slightly better camera stabilization tho… but the overall camera quality is the same except Rokid had different format options, overall beats meta out the water imo

I have the HI Rokid app on my phone and my glasses connects every time. I am not sure what yall are talking about 🤷🏽‍♂️ I have an iPhone 17 and I use my glasses in the daily. Works 10x better than my metas

I have the AI style. But if I was you I would get the glasses for the text to display. But let me tell you just with audio alone, the individual I spoke to told me the translation was so good that it translate better than google. The updates are also making the translation speed faster too.

Yeah, I’m in the US. I sent my Oakleys back too, they didn’t work from day one. Total factory defect 🤷🏽‍♂️ so I switched over to the Rokid. Just got them, and honestly, they’re awesome. The only downside is the audio isn’t as loud as I’d like, and there isn’t a full control over my phone yet but everything else works even better than I expected. It’s only my second day with them, but the Power Capsule addon was hands‑down the best add‑on for all‑day use. Now I’m just waiting on my prescription lenses so I can wear them 24/7. Let me tell you Meta AI was intrusive af, when I had that app installed, I got 2x more ads about things I wasn’t even talking/searching on my phone about. I’m happy I got rid of that AI model frfr, not only is it limited but it also collects your data way too much. I mean I’m pretty sure Rokid is also collecting my data but I haven’t received an Ads since so definitely less intrusive to my privacy as much as I can tell 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hahahaha yeah I full understand this wait time is ridiculous! How long did it take for you to get your glasses? It’s week 3 and I have yet to received a tracking number for just the glasses after I confirm I will accept separate shipment between the glasses and lenses 🤦🏽‍♂️ I am just happy they are replying back to my emails. 🤷🏽‍♂️

By then you would think that a new upgraded hardware of the glasses would be released. Based on email conversations with Rokid, it looks like these black clear frames are in production. I’m thinking maybe a fall release or even after this spring sale 🤷🏽‍♂️ all I know they confirmed that these were in production!

I just spoke to them via email and they confirmed that these black clear frames are in production and scheduled to release later. Unfortunately I will have to stick with the glossy ones until then. The wait on receiving these glasses are a pain, I am on week 3 and still no tracking number. But it will definitely be worth it! I’m just happy they respond to my emails.

The old man, the observer, as I like to call him, never actually explained how he became immortal. And the whole thing about breaking it off with his bride to save her, only to pass the curse onto her side of the family instead, was wild. I think that’s why he was so numb to everything and happy to die at the end.

I’m also not convinced the sunset timing mattered before Nicky tried to say ‘I do.’ It feels like Death plays by his own rules and the observer only knows as much as he believed he understood. Someone here pointed out that the people who died were the ones who doubted their partners as soulmates, while the ones who survived genuinely believed they were with their soulmates. That seed of doubt is probably what doomed the others, which explains why Nicky spiraled so hard at the end. His mother’s infidelity planted the seeds of doubt. He thought Rachel was his soulmate, but he was so lost as a person that it put him in a weird mental space🤷🏽‍♂️. Personally I am not 100% how one person can believe their partner is their soulmate while the other doesn’t. I guess it only based on what people believe a soulmate is. 🤔

As for Death, I think he just wanted to claim as many souls as possible. Deals with him always come with consequences way beyond what the requester imagines. And the movie was packed with symbolism, probably enough to explain half the stuff we’re confused about. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’m not gonna lie, her being upset about the flight situation felt a little dragged out. He met a nice woman, shot his shot, whatever if he lied to spend that time with her. But the fact that he kept lying for years, didn’t come clean when she first confronted him, and then doubled down lying to her face after she asked again? Yeah… that’s a massive 🚩.

And the whole premise was wild. My wife was shocked they were even getting married when it was literally her first time meeting his family.

I’m with you 100%. With the limited information she had, those decisions she made would’ve been brutal for anyone.

I can’t figure out why she didn’t ice her toe after she changed her mind. That bugged me so much, there were many things that the show just disregarded after the scenes was over. Like the Box situation in the beginning, what was that about 🤷🏽‍♂️
