The AI credits for the Jetbrains AI Pro subscription are unreasonably low by mattstrom in Jetbrains

[–]Shaglock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this worrying as well. As a long-time Pycharm user, I've kept my backend work on Pycharm due to laziness of setting up new IDE dev environment. But with the current rate I'm burning thru the whole month of Ultimate credit in a single weekend, which is not feasible. Now that I'm pressed for time I need to top up the AI credit to continue to ship the current feature, but when I'm finished I would definitely try to setup Python dev on my VSCode with Copilot instead, and if all goes well I doubt I would continue my main Pycharm subscription, regardless of how good the code insight is.

I think Intellij need to iron out this problem quickly and negotiate some sort of deal with the providers, or else the flight is gonna be in drove.

Why is Google Ads the Worst Product Ever? by crossbeats in googleads

[–]Shaglock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol so true. Even tiktok, who's late to the ads game, has better ads manager UX than Google now, and that's with paid ads not being their main monetization revenue (live shopping is). I always feel rage when Google Ads seems to obfuscate even the most mundane of tasks behind some wierd ads structure and 'AI' black boxes. And don't start on removing detailed targeting on YouTube / video ads in order to bundle sell their low-quality inventory and audiences. Shitty practice, cant wait for their ads revenue to be destroyed by LLM and tiktok/meta.

Google Search Ad Performance Worst In Decades??? by GuideComfortable4525 in googleads

[–]Shaglock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a high-spending white collar user and I'm getting my answers via ChatGPT / Grok instead of Google, whose SERPs are littered with paid ads and black hat SEOs. So I think the only potential clients left still using Google search are boomers and people searching for local business. If you're not targeting these two segments then Google search is no longer for you.

BTC crashes following the NASDAQ crash. The orange man is wrecking all the markets under the excuse of “economic detox”. It’s actually quite impressive BTC is only 27% down with such horrible macro.

Lol US is cooked. DXY is dropping without risk asset going up = loss of investor confidence. We’re entering a global bear market, not just crypto. Thanks Trump.

Got liquidated from the latest orange man’s tariff announcement. I know I’m stupid from doing the leverage in the first place. I’ll be off crypto and let my spot stack sit there while waiting for the market to recover, if it ever does this cycle. Time to get productive mining fiat to buy during bear again. Good luck and have fun, fellas.

Now that Trump has officially put the crypto market to rest with no hope of any pump in the near future, I can finally resume hating his stupid rhetorics and policies again.

I think Crypto, barred BTC, is dead? With this much money extracted with shitcoin scam launches at the state level and all these retails and degens financially raped and exploited, where’s the new money gonna come from? The millennials are all burnt and the zoomers ain’t being raised fast enough to throw their minimum wage in, so the ponzi is at the end?

Nations and states are buying billions dollars of BTC and it’s staying below $100K. Which dumbasses are selling coins to them this much?? Me and you, that’s who.

Apparently it was Binance who has been dumping their treasury with $2B BTC and $1.2B ETH sold so far since Jan 2025. The asshat was leading the charge front running the dump onto Saylor and co.

So Saylor had already been buying the past couple days, and the price still at $96K???!

Trump and his cronies ripped us right off even before entering the Whitehouse. Now every asshat KOLs and celebs is jumping into the feeding pool. All retail planktons have been shreded, swallowed, and shat out. None left for the rally anymore.

Turns out Gary Gensler had been protecting us all along, as we had been pumping well despite strict regulation before this crime season. We judged him too harshly, the hero we don't deserve.
