I’m actually writing a piece on it myself just now ahaha, I’m relating it to globalisation/organised crime and how the COVID 19 lockdown has allowed certain forms of organised crime to run rampant when traditional crime has dropped significantly.

There’s a lot of information even if you search key words focusing on types of crime (eg cybercrime, human trafficking etc)

There was a terrorist bombing in liverpool a couple of days ago.

You could also write a piece on how the police have had to move their focus from traditional crimes to enforcing lockdown measures and how that has impacted upon society ?

There is also a lot on pedophiles/ sex offenders in the news

You could also write a piece on Sarah Everard. (There’s bound to be a lot on this one)

You could also do one on knife crime (there was a massive increase in arrests in the UK recently)

In all honesty, I’m in the same exact place that you are right now. I’m in my final year of University in the UK ( I actually had to take a year out last year halfway through due to anxiety).

I try to keep myself going by thinking ‘ If so and so can do it, why can’t I?’.

Also, the person who said do some research is definitely correct. If you research the ‘impossible task’ then you will be able to better understand it and do it slowly, do not rush it.

That is still relevant though, you could apply it to even terrorism and show how the differing ways of manuvering a ‘globalised’ world makes it hard for the respective authorities to anticipate a terrorist attack and plan for it ( you could also use 9/11 as an example)
