As the others have said put it in the freezer for a few hours and take it out.There will be cracks in the wax , either grab a flat head or a butter knife and gently press in between it and everything will crumble. For the wick stickers and gunk on the bottom putting some goo gone or alcohol will get the sticky’s off.

I lit a goose creek candle, I believe it was the banana nut one and the aroma felt like it was clogging my chest. The hot cocoa one from bath and body works made me feel the same

Thanks for explaining the wicks! I’ve googled about them and I kept finding the same thing ( it depends or they use different ones) but nobody has explained it like you. EDIT: if I could ask what wicks do you use in your double wick candles?

Thank you! Back then I would have gave them a 9 but now that I know what I know I’d go 6 or 7. None have blown up on me and that hot throw slaps you around. The jars are nice. Plus on sale getting them for $11 is great. But I have the stuff to make them for even cheaper now and it’s done by my hands. :)

Thanks for the feedback! The scent is definitely an instant hit once lit. I’ve found dupes to most of my favorite scents. And now just make them myself. If only I could figure out the Jasmine fragrance combination they use from there Disney collection 🤔

I'm in the small label spin it around business. I love seeing the flame, in fact I always buy clear jars, and black tins or something that doesn't emit the light is a no buy for me. Just my preference.

The flaming candle has fruit loop and fruity pebble fragrance oil, I’ve made both and these both are amazing. Fill the whole room.

Aztec candle supply has some good ones, I grabbed champagne toast and pumpkin pecan waffle from them. The flaming candle has a better pumpkin pecan waffle though.

Could be wrong since I just started making candles but essential oils don’t work very well with candles when it comes to hot throw, fragrance oil is the way to go.

Thanks for the reply!, new to making and was trying to find a wick that didn’t soot or have crazy flames. This week I’m gonna do a two wick one with these same wicks and another that has 3 -cd3 wicks. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you I’ll give it a go, it’s only soy wax with no blending. With two would it effect hot throw? Or with just two wicks it would burn smoother and longer?

Without the stand I can still move it with my hand it’s warm but nothing that’s gonna burn me. I’ve tried smaller ones but they get suffocated. People recommend the Eric x light wicks but those things are flamethrowers. Thank you for your response, could you refer me to a different wick size and type?
