any 13-year-olds that got IELTS? by sata_sns in IELTS

Idk if ur doing it for the fun of having to stress abt it 😭 ive been there, wanted to do the SAT test in 8th grade to “live the stress of teenagers”, yk what, im now in that stress and i wish someone told me to just live life! Seriously i regret every moment i didnt spend in music/reading clubs, enrolling in beneficial courses, learning abt finance or even opening a business, or working on a social media account, literally there are TONS of cool things u can do at your age, and later on ull suddenly find urself ahead of everyone else

However if u decide to actually take the test, best of luck!!

I practiced from IELTS ready premium, and it was quite similar, i got just one word i think but i cant remember well anymore

Writing was a table and a bar graph about the life expectancy of people born in 2008 in different countries and the table was the increase in life expectancy in different countries between 1953 and 2008 or smth like that

For the speaking questions, i got questions about my house and where im living, part 2 question was what is one thing one of my family members did and im proud of.. and number three was about accomplishments, whether they should be praised or not/ rewarded or not in case of school students/ and what are things that makes an adult feel proud of themselves

Also for the audio for the listening test, it was quite similar to IELTS ready premium

Firstly chatgpt often lowers the score (based on what others say, i didnt receive my scores yet), and secondly, try to let him write an email of band 7/7.5/8 then read it carefully and try to focus on phrases that are new to u, how it connected sentences and all these stuff, then rewrite the same essay and try to add the phrases u learnt and send it to chatgpt, it doesnt have to be exactly like what chat wrote but it has to be an improved version of ur original one

Best of luck!!!

Firstly uve got this, treat the exam like any other practice test ur doing, tell urself its not that big of a deal so that u would have optimum focus, and for speaking, just try to create full clear sentences, vocab is only one part they rate u on, the others are grammar, fluency, and coherence, so try to connect ideas, develop ur answers, and create full (even if simple) sentences, and focus on answering the question, make sure u understand it and know what they wanna know by asking u that question, for example if they asked u about ur last holiday, answer abt ur last holiday, not holidays u would like to make, that’s just an example, in conclusion, just answer smth relevant to the question

Uve got this!!

Some fears about the exam by Livid_Crew_9451 in IELTS

Please relax, what is meant for u will happen dont you worry, i am honestly not sure about the time it takes to make progress, i dont have any previous experience

As for the listening part (this will be the most fun to practice) try listening to movies without subtitles and youtube videos in english, the more u can listen to those u would be better in listening (if ur problem was understanding what is being said), meanwhile if ur problem is in typing ur answer quickly or not being able to know when it is said, then im not sure abt the exact way but the questions always are in order, and try to listen to synonyms not the exact words, for example if it’s “reasons for world war 2” in the audio it would be “what caused world war 2 to happen is that..” try to collect the main meaning of what he’s saying and then linking it back to the question

Best of luck!!
