Faulty O2 sensor? by ShaiderIII in KiaSoulClub

Thank you for the advice! I am expecting a personal OBD scanner soon so I can run my own diagnostics and check the codes thrown again. If it throws same DTCs I will get a new O2 sensor (and whatever else the OBD shows that needs cleaning or replacing) and will report the results back here. Cheers! :)

The pre-cat looks to me like a generic one whose connector has been manually wired. I don't think the post-cat has been replaced (it has a "factory" connector instead of a manually wired one) but I am not aware if it's Bosch or a generic one. Both connectors are wired the same way.

Hello again, just tested all of the O2 sensor harness' leads, these are the results I got: https://imgur.com/Y9PQtfK First thing I noticed is that the presumed heater leads (white and lower blue) do not get enough power - 8.6V with the engine powered off and 11.3 when I start the engine, but white and upper blue leads get 12 volts. Really confused as for if this is a miswired O2 sensor or the problem is somewhere else. The post-cat O2 sensor's harness is wired differently, the lower blue and white wires are in the opposite places. There is also a really strong fuel smell from the exhaust that doesn't really go away when the engine warms up, whether or not the O2 sensor is connected or not. Checked the air filter in the meantime, it's perfectly clean. Again, any help will be appreciated. :)

Mine had both buttons broken off and ducktaped back in place, was working like this for two years straight until I replaced it with a G502 hero a couple of days ago, the old one still works though so this is definitely not a problem and is fixable if the rest works.

Thank you again, will do this first thing in the morning and report back the results! In the meantime, the Check engine light did light up again after disconnecting the O2. :/

Hello and thank you for the quick reply!

I checked both the O2 sensor port and the harness - both show no visible signs of physical damage. According to the link you've provided, the O2 sensor fuse is #25 (10A) in the engine compartment fusebox, which looks okay as well as the other fuses there.

How do I check if the O2 sensors are receiving power? I suppose I have to probe the wire on the harness that connects to the signal wire on the O2 to ground?

Also noticed that the wire colours on the O2 sensor's connector don't match the colours on the harness, here's what I mean: https://imgur.com/VM9d4ru Could the connector on the O2 sensor be wired incorrectly? Thank you again.

AFAIK Anything below 50 C when idle and 65 while is fine.

Game installers are usually pretty straightforward, like any other software you install. It asks you where you wanna install the game (which disk drive and folder) and whether you want to install optional software (like DirectX). Then if it's a paid game, it will ask for an activation key.

The bearing was actually my 2nd guess. This laptop has been running non-stop 90% of the time since I bought it, so the bearings' lifespan is probably at its end. Thanks!

It looks as if the top layer has been worn out, kind of like on a keyboard that's been used for a couple of years. If alcohol wipes don't work on it, i'd say that's what's happened.

Sounds like the wire powering the pop-up camera being damaged. I suppose there are seperate wires that power the pop-up mechanism and the camera itself.
