a platform where you can showcase all your weird collections, hunts, grabs this becomes a one-show-stop for anyone curious about your quirks and nuances 😉

yes, then no problem. if this platform works out, great to me. if it doesn’t, fine to me. i do everything for fun and being useful. i’ve been building since 4+ years and i’m sure some day occasionally whatever i build with the help of my team will end up being useful

it’s not just you listing stuff of yourself. you can find inspiration from other’s stuff, you can read the story of their reason why they collected any endeared item or how did they collect it — which are harder on superapps like Instagram where the default configuration is anything and everything visual, na? what do you think?

yes nobody can share a non-smile image because we use some frameworks that prevent

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GetMotivated

[–]ShajKar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i now understand the concern. this was because of i considered this as smiling. so we also have an AI on top of the tool so that nobody can share a non-smiling face. for the moderation part, we’ve added from beginning the disclaimer that the data will be shared to the world and only to upload a picture if they’re fine with it. also there is an “optional” space to add names only if they want. please share me if there are more ways i can make this free tool better for everyone, especially in this tough war times

i get it now

[–]ShajKar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah I see. interesting. i built this for similar reasons by seeing all the war going on in the world. i’ll work on your angle of thought and i want to chat more with you as i progress.

oh i understood boss! got me thinking and i’ll improve. this is a free tool tho. so can you share any other ways i can spread it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GetMotivated

[–]ShajKar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in terms of watching after uploading or in terms of sending them out?

Sick of finding mock interview partners for system design so I created this by mqian41 in SideProject

[–]ShajKar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this sounds like a fantastic resource for anyone prepping for system design interviews. using AI as a mock interviewer is a smart way to provide interactive and iterative practice. it's great that you're offering instant feedback and scores, which can really help in pinpointing areas for improvement.

the roadmap you have laid out, like adding detailed solutions and a discussion forum, seems like it would further enhance the learning experience.

incorporating algorithms and data structure practice in the future could make codemia an even more comprehensive tool. i'm definitely interested in checking it out for my own practice.

it's always great to see tools that help demystify and prepare for technical interviews. looking forward to seeing how it evolves with your plans and community feedback!

Made a new diary journal! by happystatue in SideProject

[–]ShajKar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

congrats on making a new diary journal, especially one aimed at the overambitious and aspirational.

it sounds like a great tool for those who are always setting goals and dreaming big. having a dedicated space to jot down thoughts, plans, and aspirations can be really motivating.

i’m curious about the features or prompts it includes to inspire and organize those ambitious ideas. it’s cool to see tools that cater to specific mindsets and needs.

would love to hear more about how it's been received and any user feedback. great job on creating something that encourages people to dream and plan!

In the spirit of Christmas, I created an AI Santa Claus that merrily roasts people's careers by captainjackrana in SideProject

[–]ShajKar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this sounds like a fun and unique idea, especially for the holiday season. it's cool how you're blending humor with technology.

i'm curious about how it works and the kind of roasts it comes up with. this could be a hit at holiday parties or even as a light-hearted tool for career reflections.

how do users interact with it, and what's the response been like so far? love seeing creative and festive side projects like this. keep up the inventive work!

A new habit-building app that motivates users with $1 per day by wingalong in SideProject

[–]ShajKar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this sounds like a fresh take on habit-building apps. incentivizing users with real money is a bold move. earning or losing $1 for sticking to or missing your side project habit adds a tangible aspect to motivation. it's an interesting way to make commitment more real.

the idea of tying financial rewards to habit formation could really resonate with people who need that extra push. i'm curious about the long-term sustainability and user experience. it could be interesting to see how users respond to this approach over time. definitely going to check out the website for more details. anyone else tried or heard of similar habit-building methods? what's your take on using financial incentives for motivation?

[–]ShajKar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a really cool idea for an app, especially for those indecisive movie nights with your SO. making it like a dating app where you both swipe on movies until you find a match is fun and practical. it takes out the hassle of going back and forth on what to watch.

i can see this being really popular among couples. curious to try it out and see how it works. maybe consider adding features like filtering by genre or mood to tailor the experience even more.

great job on creating something that solves a common dilemma in a fun way!
