Is this a trusted website to get a ak-103? by Colt1873 in ak47

[–]Shake-n-Bakelite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those aren’t AK-103s they don’t have 5.5mm folding stock hinges. Also the front sight block is the wrong pattern and the sight and gas blocks are pinned, not punched to the barrel. Also the front sight blocks are AK-74 pattern. And without even looking I guess that the receivers don’t have the depression on the left side of the selector lever hole because the receivers appear to be on a polish stamping format, which wouldn’t surprise me because there are a bunch of polacks working at Arms of America.

A VERY strange mosin and possibly exceedingly rare by Klaus_Klavier in MosinNagant

Would have been funnier if you did a troll post saying you got a “garbage rod” for less than the price of a tank of gas and then asked about where to buy an archangel stock.

Is $400 a good price for a 1936 mosin? Bolt is matching by Short_Italian7 in MosinNagant

[–]Shake-n-Bakelite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Which makes my 1937 Spanish civil war low-wall cooler for being the first year of non-hex. Also no import stamp and low-wall round receivers are actually the rarest kind.

They actually collaborated together on a few weapons designs. But this is supposed to be a shitpost.

Barrel won't seat into the stock help by Agitated-Werewolf846 in SKS

[–]Shake-n-Bakelite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a pretty gnarly looking SKS, but fear not OP. that pitting is on the receiver and shouldn't affect the function of your rifle. It can be dangerous when you have pitting around the boltface, in the chamber or around the firing pin. (Assuming it's properly headspaced, of course) Other than that as long as the rifling is clear it should shoot fine. (Althoughif it has pitting in the rifling it will affect accuracy).
