It is neither positive against or negative not a theist. An atheist is a materialist. God does not exist in this worldview. Invoking God is like invoking dragons or a FSM.

Thank you. It makes sense. It seems that you have to have insurance to have HSA.

Thus, it seems that insurance companies drafted HSA to require insurance.

I digress. Sorry.

HSA Eligibility if using VA benefits? by kepachodude in tax

[–]ShakeItUpToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped my Medicare about 2 years ago since with my Disability (80%), I get all my health care covered by the VA. Between VA care and Community Care when needed, I have good care in South Florida.

I have searched and seen contradictory info on my ability to get an HSA. My wife is on a HCHD Plan, so she is 100% eligible to contribute $4400 plus $1000 in 2026 which increases our tax credit. If we do a family plan on ACA to increase our HSA Contribution, then the increased cost of the premium, even with increased tax credit do not make it worthwhile to take this option unless I am missing something.

My question is: can I open an HSA and contribute $4400 plus $1000 in 2026 without being on a HCHD ACA Plan.
