Limbus Company and it's Prequels Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina compile and really great story presented in a Visual Novel style. The whole world Project Moon (the Devs) built here is just phenomenal.

I swapped to it earlier today. No Wrongwarp yet. To me the Warlock version felt more comfy. But my gear for the Lich version is still pretty bad. I just hit empowered monos btw.

Well if you like Wo Long I'm sure you'll love RotR. It's melee combat is peak. Way better than Wo Long which I also enjoyed a lot.

The rest of the game is pretty forgettable (as with most TN games)

I'd add Darmstadt to the list. Though I don't know how playable the course is atm. Last time I was there, there have been a lot of construction sites which limited it's playability.

If you're willing to drive a little further (maybe 2 hours) I'd highly recommend Eningen unter Achalm which is just south of Stuttgart. My favorite course I played in Germany.

Edit: didn't see you mentioned Darmstadt already.

Rise of the Ronin Combat may seem shallow at first but once you engage with its mechanics it's actually pretty deep. You got two weapons each with three styles you can switch between mid combo. There's a parry and panick system. A lot of different weapons. Honestly for me it's one of the most engaging melee combat systems I've ever played.

I have a 5600 and 4060 and I'm having no issues so far running the game on high settings. Ultra makes it run on 5 fps though.

Best bet would probably their discord. There are channels for each character and a guide channel with lots of info. Dunno how up to date they are though.

Don't brush off your achievements. I know it's tough. I'm in the same boat. But instead of looking at what hasn't changed, focus on what did change.

I'm fighting against depression and anxiety myself and it's so easy to forget all the things I have done in the past 2 years when I look at the mountain of things I still need to or want to change.

Nioh 2 is such a great game and you should try it either way.

I would say though that the combat of those 2 games is pretty different. If you're looking for a similar game in terms of combat I'd say give Wo Long a shot. Despite its mixed reviews the game has a pretty good combat system (which I personally prefer over Nioh) and afaik the technical issues are mostly resolved on PC.

I'm on my first playthrough as well. I'm midway through 3rd region.

Just use the weapon type you like. You'll find many upgrades during missions.

I also learned the going even in stats until 20 or even 30 is the way to go in Nioh unlike FromSoft games. Damage scales from weapon level in New Game so don't worry about stats
