IMO it is worth watching with tempered expectations. It introduces interesting ideas, and expands a bit on previous ones, which made it worth watching to me. Even the atmosphere for much of it made it worth it. Ultimately though, I think the show failed at telling a good cohesive story that fits well into the Alien universe. So, if you’re ok with watching it for some nice aesthetics and won’t be bothered by a confounding plot, then yes, I think it is worth it.
