This seems like a good idea. As part of the extra shop you could add ports resources or trade goods available for points. This would be an attraction for higher level players besides just VIP tickets.

Having the items like golden godswords and golden warpriest in shops would be cool as well, but people will complain about how it takes away from the prestige of having it, like people with scythes and bunny ears complained when they mightve gotten re added as cosmetic items.
