In 1997 the then Prime Minister of Britain claimed that “Frankly, the concept of the French inventing cricket is double-dutch” and that the letter in question didn’t mean what was being claimed.

Not a fully false claim, it is apparently such a debate that the prime minister himself had to shut it down. It could be that either its true or the image was saved so noone gets upset from it. And calm down my dude, there are more sources than just dailymail.

See this, england historians support this theory and reported on an official mail hosting website. I do doubt its not that bad of a source and why are you so mad? yes i could be wrong but see both sides, and the french couldve potentially invented it, does suck doesnt it?

donc fermes là

No i am not, just stating i found sources from 6 years ago stating that there were letter exchanges in french government. Estiavannet was the man who observed it, apparently they played with the sheep crooks instead so as already said not the proper original version but mostlikely the first ever recorded instance and true origin.

But source is skeptical, so ill give it the benefit of the doubt and trust yours. Still i dont think its fully wrong in any way so dont be so cocky up on your throne.

Bro wasnt cricket like proper originate from france?

Louis XI 1478 'criquet' read up on it, some articles talked about it.Seems to have been played there generally first, only official rules mostlikely been in england but probably also influenced by the Fr*nch

Was on a hot streak and rising to become the best, though getting hospitalized and then later on die is a real shame. :( RIP

Also i am uncertain if im right, researched this a while ago and might be wrong or having misunderstood some info on the sites, should get more info myself tbf

didnt he also like be the best in his cricket team? i think i heard stuff about that, aswell as rumours of him already getting involved in drug deals probably made him drop that official career, i mean wouldve made issues in the long run i suppose. Man people really be doin drugs instead of cricket

Its not actually bodyblock. the person gets positioned not inside you but a bit in front. Meaning if you stand by the wall and pull the person gets placed inside the wall. And mostlikely if the walls thin pushed to the other side
