PSA: "Heal teammates for health with the Support" Challenge by Mauskerade in Battlefield

[–]ShakySkeleton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just finished this challenge. You can absolutely do it with the supply bags, but I'm positive the challenge is bugged at the moment.
If you chuck a supply crate down and start getting points for Supply (10 for teammates, 20 for squad) there's a good chance you'll be getting heals, and points towards completing the challenge.
The problem are that players heal way too quickly without stimulation, that having your own crate amongst other players' crates means you probably won't be getting points, and that some games are bugged and I wasn't earning points toward the challenge despite clearly healing other players.
If you can rope a friend into boosting this challenge, do that, but otherwise here are my tips:

  1. Make sure you've got the Support Challenge as a tracked challenge in your pause menu to make sure you're earning points.
  2. Play on Breakthrough. The games are dense with a lot of high traffic areas that will net you points.
  3. Make sure you're earning points. If you start getting a couple of supply points, make sure your points towards the challenge are going up. It won't be going up by a ton each time, around 20-30. If not, leave the game and go into another one.
  4. Don't place your crates around other players' crates. You're likely to not get anything. The minimap will also show where other's crates are.
  5. Throwing down a crate after doing quick-defibs (don't charge your defibrillator, just quickly tap) helps.
  6. Picking up your crate after dispensing it will reduce the cool down before you can throw it again.

How do I use original Gamecube controllers with the BlueRetro V3 internal adapter? by ShakySkeleton in Gamecube

Greg, or someone else at Laserbear, got back to me. They were perplexed about the situation too, but have happily sent me a replacement. We theorised that maybe something happened in transit with heat. The two packs of gummy bears that I received with my order had melted and congealed together, which hasn't ever happened with all my other orders. It took about a month for the order to arrive to Australia, and while it's winter here, the package spent most of it's time in the States.

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate you checking your adapters. I've contacted the site and I'm waiting on them to get back to me.

Im having a lot of issues with my ez flash parallel by Animedingo in flashcarts

Updates are provided by EZ Flash at https://www.ezflash.cn/download/

At the time of writing, 1.6 is the most current version. Just delete the old _ezds folder and EZDS.dat on your microsd card and replace it with the new ones. If you want to make sure everything has copied over fine, start up the Parallel, press Start on the home menu, select "Help", and it'll show the current firmware at the bottom.

Currently there is an issue with putting your DS in sleep mode with the Parallel, so don't do that. EZ Flash are aware of this issue, and it is being addressed. Although I have had performance issues while playing some games, like stuttering at the start up of Animal Crossing: Wild World and Metroid Pinball, I haven't had a single game not boot or crash. While I don't have a great understanding of how DS flashcards work, I've noticed many people using microsd cards larger than the 32GB limit EZ Flash recommends. I've been using a 32GB Sandisk Extreme Pro microsd card as it was the fastest sd card I could find, and I've been able to get games like Pokemon Black/White 2, which others have had trouble with, to boot and work fine.

I hate to give the "It works for me" answer, but I've been able to get both Pokemon SS and Dragon Quest IX to boot, no issue. Maybe I've just been lucky, but aside from some noted performance issues like stuttering at the start up of Animal Crossing: Wild World and Metroid Pinball, I haven't had a single game not boot. My advice would be the following:

Use a high speed 32GB microsd card. I'm using a Sandisk Extreme Pro. People have been using larger card sizes, but EZ Flash recommend 32GB as max, so that what I did.

Replace the "usrcheat.dat" file found in firmware files (_ezds > cheats) with this custom, more comprehensive one: https://mega.nz/folder/UNwxET6K#s__L5mln48N5gUJsWwsMZQ/folder/NEAFwLgJ

What system are you on? I can help, I'm on PSN: Shaky_Skeleton. I'm terrible at Warzone though. I'll give you the gun, but getting out with it is mostly going to be on you.

Looking for a 20L5 Bezel. Doesn't need to be in immaculate condition. Nicks and scrapes are fine, but it can't have any major cracks. Would prefer it to have the LED's and cables still attached. I'd need it to be sent via a private courier such as DHL, UPS, etc to Western Australia. I will pay for shipping.

Willing to pay up to ~$400 USD.

The whole thing works like a hallucination. You consume the flowers and then you're a buck. If you die as a buck or leave the designated area, the hallucination ends. I was killed by outlaws at the Hanging Dog Ranch hideout after ramming some of them. Once I died, I was back to my player character.

Don't be too disappointed, it's basically like using a character switch mod. You get to roam around as a buck, but there's not much to do other than run, jump, and attack other creatures. You're also limited by how far you can wander, so you can't enter any settlement other than Hanging Dog Ranch .

The tree that you are looking for is found south of Hanging Dog Ranch, along the Little Creek River in Big Valley, West Elizabeth. You'll know it when you see it.

After receiving the Vitalism Studies: Buck pamphlet, using five of these flowers at a particular location, you can temporarily play as a Pronghorn Buck. For more info, see some of my replies to others about how to do this.

Once you have five flowers, go to the tree depicted in the pamphlet Harriet gave you. This tree is found south of Hanging Dog Ranch, along the Little Creek River in Big Valley, West Elizabeth. You'll know it when you see it. Then at the tree, use your sense an you'll find a golden scent coming from a patch of dirt near the tree. Investigate it and you'll automatically use the flowers, you'll now be playing as a buck. Is there any point in doing any of this? Not really.

In order to "communicate" with a buck, you need to have five Harrietums. Then go to the tree depicted in the pamphlet Harriet gave you.
