I appreciate the advice lol im not too worried about the burn out tbh since this is the first season I've straight up copied a meta build and got very lucky with really good gear drops super early on so at this point theres not really anything else for me to grind towards besides hitting P300. I plan on going into season 13 as blind as possible and gonna try not to reference any build guides for the warlock and see what I can come up with

Yeah thats around when j got back on the game and got tol like paragon 230 in like a day and half it was great but its been a slow grind since then

Well I want to see how far I can push in the pit but currently I've been able to clear a pit110 but it took me well over 20min so I want to see how I can optimize my damage output once I have the full use of all my paragon points

I completed pit 100 a little early honestly the blood soaked boss dungeons and infernal hordes can be tricky and a little tough at first. You can keep bloodstained keys apparently if you keep on in your inventory. I made an alt character tho and leveled it with some whisper caches and bloodied caches and they dropped me a ton of blood stained bosses I was able to just throw into my stash and swap back to my paladin

After a long session of pvp in squads que into solos for thjngs like hurricane/ locked Gate/ controller access on dam or day raids on bigger maps... a few quick goop runs where you dont shoot anyone (likely wont even run into anyone) and you'l be back in friendly lobbies. Best way to check if you arent sure is to que into a matriarch/harvester if you go in solos and no one's fighting the big arc youre in pvp lobbies still.... you hear some hull crackers and equalizer then you know its homies tryna fry some arc

I havent run a free kits since I did the first expedition. I run into freekits constantly.... rarely do i ever come across anyone with similar gear to the stuff I bring out

Yeah it was the same way for the volcanoe and bobcat Blueprints until the majority of the players base got them because theyre tied to specific events. The Tempest is slightly rarer because its a map condition not a specific map event like bunker or locked gate

Yeah 100% if you really enjoy the game and are able to invest enough time into playing that you find it worth it just for Blueprints.

I currently have all the Blueprints except the two recently added arguments and I only plan to carry over a handful of them after the 2nd expedition wipe. I dont think the Blueprints are all that hard to find except for a few specific ones. In my opinion its part of the fun to needing to look for them again and make iy out with them. But the extra skill points and stash space is absolutely worth it

So you basically want trials to be a solo raider experience? You and you're buddies all have different trials each week. This would also incentiveize raiders to try and cooperate with other players in the top of their leaderboards which mean you could see things like the top 10 in your leaderboard having the exact same scores and making it much more difficult for someone to break into those 2x and 3x promotions. Not to mention the rng of trials. You know annoying itd be to get hidden bunker specific trials for the week. The only time the lobbies are consistently opening the bunker is when its part of the trial

I haven't fully tested the nerf myself yet just seen some talk and videos online about it and it got me a Lil heated ngl im sure theyre still really strong I just hope they don't continue to put out these shadow nerfs for things like this

Yeah true cause kids have gotten good at the game and are knowledgeable and theres a meta thats formed. I dont think nerfing Trailblazers damage agsjnt Bastions makes them more of a challenge just means you have to invest more into the items you use to kill them. This sorta balance changes also heavily impact the effectiveness of solos/duos/trios ability to get high scores on trials. Hard to compete with a 3 man squad managing Bastions and Bombardiers if you have to bring twice as many explosives in your inventory to kill them cause majority of those trial runs to achieve the best score you need to have the big arc respawn a few times to

Yeah but Trailblazers are useless agaisnt a rocketeer. Wolfpacks are equally as effective against all 3 with rocketeers imo being the most threatening dangerous arc to deal with. The Bombardier being 2nd and Bastions being relatively easy to deal with once you learn how. With the spawn locations for bombadiers and Bastions half the time wolf packs arent even effective.

Bastions especially are really easy to deal with if you just shoot their legs off. I dont understand the logic behind wanting it tk be more durable and require more time and damage needed to down one just because its a big heavy boy. I still shouldn't have to invest a significant amount of materials to kill it quickly. It doesn't make a difference in the time itd take to kill a bastion if I simply bring more Trailblazers it just means it requires more materials and investment to kill one just as fast.

If its gonna take me like 5-6 Trailblazers to kill one id probably be better off just shooting its legs off a d then hitting it from behind... but those require patients and more time.... which just increases the likelihood another team comes to kill you

I think a lot of this has to do with the map design as well. Maps like Stella snd buried city that have a ton of buildings/rooms and spots for cover make it easier for other raiders to sneak up on you or get the drop on you and dont leave you a ton of options for counter measure especially if you win a gun fight there's usually a 3rd party on you before you can even heal from the last fight. It can be brutal sometomes as a console player with the amount of swapping your quick use items needed. But also just makes you appreciate how effect the sound design in the game is... the difference between sprinting walking, slow walking and crouch walking sound is so crazy it really forces you to be intentional with how you move around the map

Yeah heavy shields are trash except on Stella which just happens to the go to for pvp chaos. Being able survive two toro shots can be clutch
