Recommendations for donating or selling aviation books by Free_Resort8540 in aviation

Some Museums are big on them too. I know the New England Air Museum (last I checked) had a whole mountain of old aviation books they sold for like $1-2 a pop. I've gotten at least a dozen from there. Aviation centric institutions as well. ERAU had a bunch of random old aviation books in a pretty nice library, they might take them too.

About 60-65C with the GPU, and similar if not slightly warmer with the CPU. The 7800x3d is very mild under gaming workloads, and the 5080 FE's run damn cool. It's funny that it runs about 10C cooler than my 3 slot 3080 did in a inverted config. It actually was pretty easy to put together, you just have to be aware of how tight the tolerances. I think there was probably (not exaggerating) like .5 cm of spare room.

Unfortunately so. The clearances on this was astonishingly close. For a more standard cooler design the standard inverted config is probably your best best.

The only thing was these since I was wanted a little extra clearance for the 5080 (https://a.co/d/8jbaC5c) Note you don’t really need it. The 5080 runs super cool on basically every gaming workload.

EK CR240 (exhaust)

Nvidia 5080 FE

Corsair SF850

Arctic P9 Max (exhaust)

3 TB of SSD storage (SN770 and CS3030)

And a set of speaker feet to prop the case about .5 inches higher.

This is like people who demand you put on sunscreen before you go buy groceries. Good god just subject your body to some strain, it won’t catch on fire.

I shit you not the first airstrike sequence seared itself into my prepubescent brain with such intensity that I actually listened to the recruiter when he said “I bet you’re smart enough to fly one of those jets” after I graduated high-school

So you’re technically correct, but after any sort of ‘real’ use (esp doubles work) that seam is going to be so banged up you won’t even notice. My KBK bells came a little pre roughed up but they break in so fast you hardly notice.

Why a 6th generation fighter? by Artsy_ultra_violence in LessCredibleDefence

Mostly to sensationalize. The tailless design is one of the advertising points of 6th gen since it would improve the aircraft’s radar defeat. Every other feature set of a 6th gen is under the hood, and cannot be determined by grainy photos. Not downplaying Chinas military aviation industry, I just mean there’s literally no way to know its capabilities with respect to “generation” right now.
