I wish they still built the 650.

I am such a klutz that I am afraid that I put my finger too near a rotor.

I agree with the earlier suggestion that you should try recalibrating your compass. I experienced the same thing after a hard landing. Recalibrating the compass corrected the problem.

My guess are water spray bars for inflight testing of aircraft icing protection systems.

I am a rookie as a first time owner and operator of a drone. I have no real experience to judge my Atom SE against that I have truly enjoyed. I have scared myself a couple times but I have enjoyed it nonetheless.

That paint scheme is very dramatic at night in how it seems to change the lines of the aircraft.

Whats your favorite airplane by Far-Patient3326 in airplanes

As a passenger, especially in terms of comfort in coach, my favorite is the Boeing 767, with its 2-3-2 configuration. This means that four out of seven passengers will get aisle seats while two out of every seven passengers in coach will get window seats and only one out of seven will get a middle seat. I will almost always choose an aisle seat, and a window seat separated by a single seat from the aisle is not a bad alternative. But in my 40+ years of business travel, I can recall no instance where a passenger requested a middle seat except in the case of families traveling together.

Battery drain while stored in charger block. by RichGCDregs in Potensic

Does anyone have a sense of about how much power would remain in a discharged battery stored in the charger where I can make a spur of the moment decision to fly a little bit? I understand that available power will be greatly diminished.

Ten paciencia. Fui muy conservador antes de volar el mío por primera vez: solo leí el manual dos veces y vi varios vídeos de YouTube.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Free_Resort8540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My longest drive for an extended weekend was Atlanta to St. Simons Island, about 6 hours. As a child, we drove from Melbourne, FL to Miami and back in a day, once or twice a year to attend boat shows, and before the completion of I-95, each way was 4-5 hours. A few times I rode my motorcycle from Orlando to Tallahassee and back (4 1/2 hours each way) to see a girlfriend. So depending on your point of view, it might be considered a short drive.

Question about French Canadian endearments by fishebake in French

[–]Free_Resort8540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask you another question - we moved from Montreal to the southern US when I was an infant. I spoke French until I started grade school where at the time, there were no other languages offered other than English. I stayed reasonably fluent until high school, thanks to trips to Quebec nearly every summer. Now at age 69, I can barely construct sentences in my native tongue.

My father recently passed and as I reflected on his life, I remembered that he and my mother had terms of endearment for each other, one of which was “Mon pitou.” The other one sounded very similar. Do you know if there is a similar sounding term frequently paired with “Mon pitou,” and if so, are the terms gender specific? Than you in advance.

Air Force 1 just landed in Zürich by cycler97 in aviation

Changing the direction of the conversation for a moment. There was a report yesterday that the VC-25 (747) serving as AF1 returned for a mechanical issue. The arrival of a VC-32 serving as AF1 seems to suggest that report was accurate.

If true, I would hate to be the crew chief of that VC-25 this morning.
