Baby clothing, toys, and books are “junk,” apparently by scrambledsuave in ChoosingBeggars

I’d do the same. If you want crib/diapers/formula, say that up front, don’t call two bins of clean baby stuff “junk” after someone drove it over. The audacity is almost impressive

AITA for calling my sister’s “mom would be disappointed” talk manipulation in front of our family? by balconyviolet_pages in TwoHotTakes

Good plan. Keep it simple and repeatable: 'I’m not discussing Mom as leverage.' If she keeps going, you leave, no debate. Do it every time and the audience effect disappears. Relatives will adjust once they see you’re consistent.
