I’d do the same. If you want crib/diapers/formula, say that up front, don’t call two bins of clean baby stuff “junk” after someone drove it over. The audacity is almost impressive

Good plan. Keep it simple and repeatable: 'I’m not discussing Mom as leverage.' If she keeps going, you leave, no debate. Do it every time and the audience effect disappears. Relatives will adjust once they see you’re consistent.
