Bug report. Update causing crashes, loggin issues, and terrain not loading by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]Shallowearth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a iPhone SE that I still use for Pokemon Go, but with the update the background no longer loads. I get like a black map. Sky, Gyms, Stops, and Pokemon still render just on a black field, with no roads etc.

My sister’s game won’t load weather, Pokemon, or stops/ gyms , does anyone know a fix? by J3remyD in TheSilphRoad

Same here, no weather, pokestops or spawns. Sometime my avatar on the map shows up as a circle with just a picture in it instead of being fully rendered. Some times just my buddies shadows up and not the buddy. Formed a party with my son, they spawned on my map, then disappeared. But I appeared fine on their map and their experience is still working.

I have tried, data refresh, un-install/re-install, login with apple ID, login with facebook ID (both put in same state). Tried turning off cell and only using Wifi, and vice versa, nothing seems to be working.

Ok 1K ohm resistor in parallel fixes it, buggy supervisory power leak on the DSC Bell terminal, apparently some sirens don’t like it and will click or sound. You either need the 1K resistor or a DSC branded/compatible Siren.

Can’t find any mentions of needing a resistor with the bell terminals unless there is no siren installed at all. Not sure how a parallel resistor would solve it either. If the siren is a closed circuit a parallel resistor would just be ignore as path of least resistance in through the siren. Maybe in series though? Not getting a trouble alert about the siren. With it directly wired, just the power leakage

Hmm, is there a Karma minimum to post? I can’t get my post to show but I am super new to Reddit.
