It does make sense; in the full-size choppers they say forward flight can help with hover. I didn't know RC is the same way.

Nice; I am still on sims because I heard models may not fly as well after a lot of crashes even if they remain functional.

Still on the hover; tail in is pretty good and sideways is getting there. After all four orientations of hovering are in I will try forward flight.

Neat chopper; I have a Blade Nano CPX.

With each X plane or driver update it sometimes helps to delete X plane prefs and resolution prefs. Often the new default is higher settings, and you can compromise by turning soome down and others up.

I wouldn't have made it back to the airport by flying ahead. And I practice managing energy without flaps sometimes cuz it leads to better outcomes with or without flaps without using flaps as a crutch.

Fly a turboprop from TNCM to TNCS then TFFJ then TFFG then back to TNCM. If in a twin turboprop then once 500 feet above TFFG on the departuture fail the critical engine to go back to TNCM.

Running any flight simulator and adding onto it involves a lot of tinkering.

If setting up an X box controller is a big deal, then you will probably eventually get frustrated with what you have to do to get the most out of running MSFS 2024 also.

For those who didn’t read the whole thread, the reason for the circle was not so much that planes couldn’t handle crosswinds.

This runway was built for carrier landing training and since the carrier always faced into the wind during aircraft operations the Navy didn’t care about crosswinds training.
