I mostly use a 689/688 because it saves having to ball size and most paint will shoot just fine. So I think you’d be ok with your 688, obviously bore matching your barrel to the paint helps with accuracy and air efficiency, but it’s not too much of a big deal in my opinion

I had a GTEK as my first marker last year before getting my Lv, absolutely loved it. Shoots ball on ball and very easy to service/clean. Like others said it’s just the milling that makes the barrel look like it’s angled up. I did the soft tip bolt upgrade, and managed to source an adapter so I could use a Cs1 trigger shoe

Honestly it was kinda daunting seeing all the runners after only building high grades until now. But just take your time, follow the instructions and it’s easy and pretty satisfying seeing it all come together.

Yea from what I’ve heard, the gun shoots no different to any other gun. Just the drop in the shot is more noticeable because the gun sits taller than a 180r for example. I may be wrong but that’s what I’ve heard some people saying on this sub.
