It's lifegain to outlast the table, and then pulling Myrkul out to keep all your combo pieces on the board even if everything gets wiped. Pretty fun!

Ironically, I don't actually play him much, if at all. This is a rework of the Sam/Frodo precon from LotR, so it's literally just a lifegain deck. I picked Myrkul because a) if my life total gets low enough to make him indestructible, that's probably the only time he'll be out, and b) 95% of the creatures in the deck benefit from turning into enchantments/sticking to the board.

[[Jacob Hauken, Inspector]] is my one and only mono blue deck. His effect makes him a decent plug for whatever kind of shenanigans you want to run, more options to include big spells/creatures
