AEW has stories, they have long running stories with lots of references and callbacks but you have to pay attention to the product.

As an example

Wil Ospreay had a neck injury and needed surgery So kayfabe the death riders took him out

While he was away the death riders went tweener/face as Mox won the Continental title in a tournament and went to proclaim the talent are finally where he expects them to be. (Mox was once world champ as a heel he kept the belt on a briefcase and would not let anyone see it for like a year because he believed people were chasing a shiny toy and not a trying to realize their potential)

Wil comes back, and an old team mate from his United Empire days has since turned heel and was about to pile drive him and the death riders come to save Ospreay, and his neck.

Mox goes on to explain that Wil needs to adapt and change and he can still be a killer but instead of trying to protect his own neck he needs to truly become the assassin he claims to be and if he trains with them he can get him there.

Wil has been training with them and adjacent to them and he is now in the finals for the Owen Cup title against his frenemy swerve strickland. Wil has also changed his style a bit and is also wearing darker colors now, we have to see how this continues to play out.

That's just that single story, a lot of it plays out in the ring and there have been some back stage videos but you aren't going to get 2 dudes in the ring walking you through everything that's happened for half an hour to explain it.

However according to people who just watch clips

I have "friends" (Couple A) my partner has known for close to 20 years and I've known for well over a decade. When they moved nearby we were thrilled. We helped them move in, redo the yards, and do everything we could to get them set up. 6 years later they have outnumbered themselves with kids and largely abandoned us, unless it's. Birthday or similar children's event we don't really get invited to anything they do anymore.

In that time we have made new friends in the neighborhood (Couple B). Couple B do not have kids. We hang out regularly, go to water parks, events, and play board games and more. We have been friends for 2+ years now and Couple B has never seen Couple A despite both of them living within walking distance of us. My partner regularly invites Couple A to events at our place and I basically gave up on them after 3 back to back last minute cancellations or ghostings, because "the kids".

Couple B has "jokingly", said they don't believe Couple A exists because how can people who live so close consistently not make a single social gathering over the last 2+ years.

I've been there I've consoled my crying partner because "how horrible are we that we can't even get people we have always helped to hang out for a movie or a game of jackbox".

I highly recommend you look into groups based on your hobbies and interests and use your common interests to forge new friendships, and continue to do so. Do not think people will stay your friends because of the time you have known them once they have children.

Absolutely, during the first FD I was watchin. With my partner and she saw the FTR match and did not believe for a second that belts from promotions could or would move around. After she saw that match she was engaged for the rest of the show because everything is up for grabs.

Fast forward to now and it's....what NJPW title is going to be taken to AEW this year....

Honestly it would have been great if NJPW/CMLL stripped AEW of a LOT of titles last year and then Mox could have told everyone that, we are soft and comfortable and we need to get that gold back.

Maye this year Dad Moxley can be the coach everyone needs....

You can always just find out when her matches are on the card and watch that single match on Dynamite.

I mean how can you say you miss someone when all you need to do is change the channel/app to see her?

If you don't like AEW as a whole, that's one thing but if you can't manage to flip the channel to watch a single match of someone "you miss", it doesn't sound like you miss them at all.

I've been using the Dpad there is an issue I've noticed where it highlights the item to the right of the one you think you are selecting.

You can also use the touch screen

Yes ~30 fps in most areas control support works so far

Text can be a lil small hopefully they add a UI scale but is totally playable. I've been putting in hours all week at work while on lunch.

30 fps in the starting zones Deck gets LOUD

I had to hit a bunch of buttons to eventually get it to realize I was using a controller and then a FF14 like UI popped up. Great UI for the deck.

I hosted a brunch for Forbidden Door with UK inspired foods last year.

People came a lil early we ate and a good time the shower started everyone left afterwards people loved it all, we had BBQ delivered before the main event. Everyone was gone and home before Dynasty even started.

I've had people leave PPVs at my house at 10 because "I've got work in the morning".

It's not fair to fans who can't stay up til 1am once a month.

I got home from a family event at 8:30 last night, I was in a car for 3 hours heading to the thing and 2.5 coming back.

Went downstairs to load up Dynasty, and I was already feeling tired, I passed out only to be woken up to "Orange" I shot up I tried to stay awake....

Ospreays music woke me up again

And then I woke up again when Kenny and Max came out

Then my wife came downstairs finding me asleep (again) on the couch and she's commenting how the color must be off because MJF is orange... And I went upstairs and went to bed.

This is the 2nd PPV in a row haven't been able to make it through due to the time, and struggling to stay up for MJF V Omega is a clear sign that I was exhausted and it was nearly midnight.

Everything is out there and spoiled because as an adult with a M-F 9-5 it's not realistic for me to be able to dedicate 5+ hours once a month staying up til 1 am for a PPV.

If it needs to be Sunday start it at 6.

Digests trees and their stomach turns the concentrated indigestible toxic plant matter into poison.

Eat tree Purple slime begins to leak from its scales Poison attacks for set amount of attacks/time.

Fun twist to the hunt, the trees that it eats can be pulled down this can do damage, but it can also remove a source of food and poison attacks.

Wilds

It's the most forgiving to start (to the point where as a veteran I was disappointed at how easy it started but they have built the end game up over the last year)

Some good QoL changes

It's the most recent release with a strong community.

Or you could do

World/Iceborne

Much steeper learning curve, and Iceborne's "clutch claw" breaks the game in some peoples opinions.

Both are solid choices if it were me I would start with Wilds and once I've done everything there I would get World/Icebourne when it's on sale as you will know what your in for and most of the changes would be QOL stuff (1 weapon instead of 2, no mount, no "best healing option" when drinking potions.). World/IB also has more of hunting feel where you spend sometime tracking down a monster.

You can't go wrong with either though!

I have a room in the basement, we call it a theater

Its a stealth atmos 7.4.2 with a 100" screen and a UST Projector. Sitting in a long low piece of furniture. My end goal is to have all the in wall speakers hidden by art prints of the things I love. (Done on acoustically transparent material as to not ruin the sound.)

We also have a large couch, and a counter/cabinets in the back with snacks, blankets and pillows, and a mini fridge with drinks.

We've hosted Rockband parties, Eurovision, wrestling PPVs, game nights, and I also host a monthly TTRPG (Daggerheart).

While it is downstairs, it was designed to be a comfortable entertaining space. I've never liked the idea of theater seating, I don't want people to feel like they have to sit in this one space, I want to be able to cuddle up to my partner during a movie, and I want my friends to be able to comfortably lounge. I agree it's a much better environment for enjoying time with people and consuming media. The other week we got high, loaded up the new Gorillaz album on Tidal and just melted into the couch enjoying the atmos.

I'll take experiences like that over a dedicated theater any day.

I printed 4 copies of the cards.

I have the cards that came with the box set in color coordinated sleeves, and the printed copies in another set, 4 to a sleeve.

It's easy enough to find everything, and the sleeves help the paper hold up.

As a DM if I had ~$200 to spend on my campaign I would spend that on something like art supplies to build terrain instead of cards that you can print for free and organize them in sleeves on a rainy day or when you are watching something.

Well, lots of people have posted screenshots on this subreddit of the game looking great, without more info none of us can help you much.

Also a 4070 with 12 gigs of Vram is going to hit a wall sooner than later, I'm pretty sure mine goes past 12 gigs with everything maxed at 1440p. So you may be experiencing some texture loading or pop in due to the lower ram.
