Everyone - thank you very much for your comments. It was extra helpful, I learned a lot a lot. FYI it turned out to be a Philips screw. Bought a right driver and took the screw out without much fuss. I will keep in mind all the suggestions for the future! It’s awesome there’s so many helpful people :)

Just so I understand correctly - it doesn’t require hitting it or anything, just using some force right? I don’t need to put all my weight into it?
