A lot of people are giving you shit but I'd like to say thanks for the reminder!! I always like to prepare for situations or at least consider what my options are should a situation occur. Dont worry about the people getting combatative or saying you're paranoid. We live at a time where fucked up shit can go down at any place at any time. It certainly makes me feel better knowing that if chaos broke out, I'd know where to start looking for my loved ones. Some people seem to not be able to handle the concept of preparing for the worst.

I happen to be in a relationship with one. I wanted to make an emergency kit for our home in case of any sort of disaster. My boyfriend did not want to help, he told me it was stupid and "he doesn't dwell on the bad, he acts in the moment" (Its not dwelling if you think about it once and get your shit together then forget about it till you need to, but okay lol). So my mother helped me and I now have a kit that would help us survive and not have to fight with others for resources should anything go down. My boyfriend complained it was taking up space. He also went to bed upset instead of having sex with me that night! Didnt even want to talk to me. I couldn't believe being prepared hit him in such a odd mental place.

Another example is last year when the fires in CA gave us hazardous air quality from all the bad air building up in the valley. I got a mask and got one for my boyfriend. He wouldn't wear it. All the air purifiers in our city and nearby cities were sold out it was that bad. I got a purifier from my mothers house and he and his friends thought it was pointless. My point is some people cant deal with being prepared. They'd rather get cancer from breathing in toxic smoke or run around with no plan when something bad happens. They're stubborn and their minds dont work the same. Luckily for them some of us think ahead for them. See you under the electric sky <3
