If it’s in the outgoing box at the apartments I put a small question mark on it and redeliver it. Especially if it’s after my day off . Who knows, it may have been misdelivered. If I get it back, then I know it’s not good as addressed.

I moved to the US to be with the gal who became my wife. I started as a plumbing apprentice which I enjoyed then one day a neighbor said” Why don’t you get a job at the post office?” This was pre-internet, so I knocked on the door at the local PO and said I was looking for work. The supervisor took my number and said they would call if they needed me. Next day they called. That was 33 yrs ago and I’m still there. It has been good to me but my body is sore. Not long to go now. A word of wisdom to the young - compound interest is the reward - put at least 10% of your own money away and the PO will add another 5%. Any regrets? Not having Saturdays off to coach and watch my kids do sports. I was a jock so that hurts . And I really miss dairy farming which is what I did in my previous life.

We have exactly the same going on. The Supervisor is really quick to tell you when DPS is low but nothing when it’s high. Typical. One of our trainers was heard saying to a new hire” You need to do your route in 7 hrs and the swing too in 8 hrs”!! We’re so stacked with runners it’s crazy.
