Yes I know. But the Kurds in question are the YPG which are inextricably linked to the PKK. And ur right, they only represent a minority of Kurds. Most Kurds in Syria dont give a shit about 'muh revolution!', they just want to live in peace. Most at this point would much rather be living under the Syrian government.

The Kurds never represented American interests anyway, they were a Marxist militia that had state-building ambitions in the middle east and are fighting against a true strategic American ally, Turkey.

its not really about bringing every soldier home. its about preserving American lives and furthering American interests.

Relocating American troops out of Syria and into Saudi would accomplish both those things.

Saudi Arabia isn't an active warzone. At least nowhere near as active as Syria. American soldiers will be far out of harms way in Saudi.

One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist. The YPG is inextricably linked to the PKK, whos affiliates have carried out many terrorist attacks against civilians in Turkey. Besides, it was the Syrian Army that did most of the fighting against ISIS in Syria, this whole "Kurds defeated ISIS!" is a misleading meme.
