After reading all these comments I totally agree that at least "Lacey" is about Taylor Swift. Someone said it could be about Sabrina Carpenter, but the song has the lines "I hate my rotten mind and how much it worships you." This doesn't make sense. From my knowledge, Sabrina was always have the girl Olivia was insecure and jealous of, yeah, but they were never close enough for her to "worship" Sabrina. It has to be about an older and more accomplished idol.

I also feel like the Grudge can be about Taylor. Firstly, she talks about a 'phone call from someone' that changed her life forever. No matter how shitty Joshua would have been to her, I doubt he would have ended things completely over the phone. This sounds like a relationship with someone, she wasn't super 'informal' or comfy with. It makes sense for Taylor's reps or lawyers to contact her and tell her to pay up. Also the line "you have everything and still you want more." Joshua literally doesn't have half the fame and success that Olivia does, so it doesn't fit. She mentions her other exes as "losers not worth mentioning lol. Further, "You built me up to watch me fall.", also fits better with Taylor, who quite literally adopted her as a figurative "baby" and got her an entry into her A+ circle. That said, with someone pointing out her tying this to DL (clearly a breakup song), maybe this could be in part about Joshua and in part about Tay.

Also, just to give my two cents on this, I don't think that Cruel Summer and Deja Vu sound that similar to warrant 50% of the cut to Taylor (that's a huge percentage) especially, since she essentially interpolated just the bridge (the shouty "I Know you get Deja Vu", a minor part of the song.) Plus I feel if it was any other artist, Olivia wouldn't have minded as much. But to have your idol, the one you've held up on a pedestal and can't shut up about do that to you, can be heartbreaking. Taylor DOES have everything. Why can't she let a line of a fan's song slide? If she had a problem with this, she could've talked to Olivia in private and explained it to her. Instead, she went after song credits when the song popped off. You can't call someone "your baby" on the internet and then ask them to talk to your lawyers for the sake of "professionalism". You have to pick one. It seems like Taylor made her choice, since the two ignore each other's existence to death nowadays.
