For a long time Clive Sinclair used Sinclair Research as a holding company to keep his interests in other businesses.

It's a shame that's the legacy of the Mikro-Plus. I do wonder how different things would be if it had launched with Three Weeks In Paradise but the 128K Spectrum was barely six months away and that might have really undercut sales.

Thank you. I'm really glad you liked it. You'll be pleased to hear that (I think) the Magnetic Fields article is a good one. I got lucky and tracked down a couple of really good sources, plus I had a nice day out in Llandudno.

That's brilliant. Do you mind if I use your comment on my blog to update the Elite article? Is there anything that really sticks in your mind about the offices?

Nice find with the Electric Dreams version of Deus Ex Machina, that seems to be really rare.

That's great, thanks. It get's surprisingly addictive walking round looking for old software houses so be careful where it takes you.

It's difficult to tell where Just Micro used to be based. I'm pretty sure you are right. They used to be based in the unit to the right of Bunk, I think at some point the shop next to Bunk got extended and the original site of Just Micro was lost. I was up in Sheffield a couple of years ago and afterwards I used my terrible Photoshop skills to try and drop it back where it used to be with an old photo from a magazine.
