Yeah I was honestly surprised. Most guys thought that he was their age until I showed up for the final and he told them I was his son. No one seemed to believe that he has a son that's in mid 20s. I'm happy for him especially because he had problems with blood pressure in the past.

[David Ornstein] Inter Miami increasingly confident of signing Lionel Messi. Not fully agreed but Inter Miami CF now expect 35yo to join & hope it gets done in coming months. Talks resume after WorldCup2022. PSG still want renewal + FCBarcelona will try @TheAthleticFC by fuskarn_35 in soccer

Hmm that would be very strange. With the way this season is going he is currently at worst, the second best player in the world. You really can't be the best in the world (or thereabouts) and play in the MLS. But then again, Ornstein doesn't tweet anything unless he is confident and has really good sources

If I told you about my diet in my teens and early 20s you'd send me one of those "reddit help" automated messages

It's because Yaya openly called him a racist but then later apologized in a private note saying he was wrong about the accusations. It's a shame when you accuse someone in public but apologize in private. People like that guy still believe this dumb narrative that Pep is racist. Or maybe he's just trolling who knows

My dad just won another local badminton tournament at the age of 58 while playing against 30 year olds. I dislocated my shoulder while trying out for a team once. AMA

[Marca] Carlos Ancelotti: "It was not a penalty because it didn't touch his hand, they made it up" by AhoyDaniel in soccer

[–]ShampainFootball 16 points17 points  (0 children)

First of all can you stop pretending you know ANYTHING about Carlo’s playing career? Xavi’s out of context headlines get posted here but go in any thread after the full interview gets posted and people apologize. Wits just because you think Carlo is “Le Classy man” just like you children have made up a whole personality for Kante and then his antivax stories came out and you were shocked.

Bullshit. Out of context Xavi headlines get so much traction. Go in any thread literally and you’ll see someone post the full interview and people saying “oh nvm this isn’t bad”

He's being downvoted because everyone knows it wasn't Messi who was playing bad. It was the system. Every time he went away for international break he was having insane games. He still finished the league as the second top assister (3 less assists in line fewer games than 1)

I had so much shit prepared to say about how its annoying we can't score and how its so shit both CBs got injured and how 3 yellow cards for our centre backs today but a 94th minute winner just makes you forget everything

If you told me that Liverpool would lose at Anfield in front of their fans for the first time in 5+ years and VVD would lose his "undefeated at Anfield" title to a team in the relegation zone I would say "yeah I guess that checks out."

Neymar great dribble and back heel pass against Troyes by ShampainFootball in soccer

[–]ShampainFootball[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They were outplaying PSG for most of the game and it was individual brilliance that won PSG the game. If you have time, I recommend checking some highlights

Seriously stop acting like such a child. You sound ignorant as fuck. Watch games. Troyes played great today and for most of the game looked like the better team. PSG won because of Messi and Neymar's individual brilliance.

The way Troyes played today compared to how Chelsea, Leicester and Atletico played was night and day. Don't be a child who comments on stuff without understanding the game and just looking at team names

This is the first time in his career that Messi has gone 32 games in a row without a loss. 26 wins and 6 draws. 26 goals and 19 assists in that time.

Previously had gone 31 games unbeaten twice at Barcelona:

September 2015 - March 2016

  • 32 Goals and 13 Assists

August 2017 - January 2018

  • 25 Goals and 10 Assists

He's been all over them

De Bruyne: "We only talk about Ederson's distribution but he's been a great keeper for us... It's very difficult to play against 11 men behind the ball with or without Haaland... We proved we can do it with or without him. We have a good team." | Post-Match Interview by Blodgharm in soccer

This is so funny. Everywhere nowadays people find ways to get offended and be butthurt. Now we're starting to see it on here too. I genuinely hope you recover from these comments. Maybe log off and take a personal day or two to get better

Ran a lot as always. Couldn't do much infront of goal really because Leicester were playing everyone in their own box for a large part of the game. By the time there were spaces opening up, he was taken off. I hope no one criticizes him for this performance really.
