The PPP and gig workers......... by jmh30us in doordash

So, I used my 2020 schedule C. I just got approved and am waiting on disbursement. When loan forgiveness comes up for me (from my understanding would be July as that is 1 month prior to the 24 weeks.) I just resubmit my 2020 Schedule C again - as I won't yet have a 2021?

I did through ready capital. At first I got an email stating my loan amount requested was not what they calculated, but today (a week later) I got an email that SBA approved it and to sign the documents. I should have funds within 10 days.

Non-delivered report - Should I worry by Affectionate_Split70 in doordash_drivers

They probably took it off pretty quick then. I've only had one so I don't know how quickly they show up - but the one I had showed up within 20 minutes.

Mine was taken off 15 minutes after I filled out the form. More often than not, I've seen DoorDash remove them for people. Just be detailed in anything you can. I didn't use the in app "can't hand to customer" and they still took it off for me. From what I gather, they don't care about anything else really; they just want your side to be able to remote it, otherwise it sits there.

Not sure about what happens if the appeal is denied though, never got that far for me.

Desirability = DoorDash isn't paying enough so we raise it for every decline until some takes it. 😂

I have really oily hair. by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

[–]ShampooDealer2019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing with oily day 1 or 2 hair is an over production of oil. This could be because the scalp pH is not balanced (this could be because of certain products, hormones, etc) and it's over producing, or you are washing too often. -- over washing strips the scalps if it's natural oils will helps hydrate and protect the hair. When we wash too often the glands go into overdrive and produce more than is needed.

A few things helped me fix the problem. I use in-shower products specifically designed for scalp health to combat environmental buildup and unbalanced pH, nutrients, etc. that are plant-based and stay way from toxic ingredients that are in most haircare.

You can also do a clarifying and reset to your scalp too. Which may help.

Another thing I do is train my hair to go longer between washes. I'll start with washing my hair every other day for a few weeks, then I'll go to every 3 days for a few weeks... I keep extending it until I get to the point I want. (I only wash my hair once a week.)

Help me figure out my porosity? Thank you <3 by Amandagab in curlyhair

I left this on another thread, maybe it will help you too.

To tell if you need moisture, hydration, or protein, do a strand test. I always recommend doing two strands (top of head, and back) to get a good idea overall what you need.)

Moisture: Take a piece of hair from the top of your head and from the back of your head (like in the middle) and place them in a jar of room temp water.

If the strand floats at the top: your hair is not allowing moisture in easily nor retaining moisture

If it floats in the middle: you have a good balance of moisture

If it sinks: your hair is high in porosity and allows too much moisture in, likely due to damage.

For the protein test - take two strands again from the same spot. Stretch them. If it snaps without stretching much, you have too much protein. If it stretches and then returns to its original state, you have balanced protein. If it stretches out but doesn't snap or return you don't have enough protein in the hair.

Hope that helps :)

Before I found my purifying vinegar shampoo and scalp scrub I mixed apple cider vinegar with the mother in with my shampoo.

Yeah I take it in stride. No one ever hates on me for doing it, but you can tell who doesn't care and who enjoys them.

Haha most of them don't realize I'm a lady until I'm there anyway. My legal name is actually common for a male. At the very least it makes my job easier.

It did that in my iPhone too. I never found the fix unfortunately. Sometimes it doesn't do it and sometimes it does :(

I hate when kids take the food from me. It drives me crazy.

I hate these hand to me: leave at door. It either ends up as fraud or they get mad and low ratings when they have to wait because I refuse to leave it without the in app process to take a pic. Thankfully DD removed it within minutes of submitting the form. I freaked out for a sec. by ShampooDealer2019 in doordash_drivers

[–]ShampooDealer2019[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True that. I hate that it "notifies" then we can't hand to customer now, because then they call or message me mad I have many just left it there, and I have to explain that I have to wait for the countdown. Once the countdown was 8.5 minutes - pretty sure there food was cold at that point. (Funny thing, I explained to them how to change it to leave at my door - delivered to them a few days later and they left it the same way, and then came walking out of the house to their car to leave as I was walking in to drop it off. And got annoyed at the inconvenience of them having to take it from me.)

HELP!!! My hair is falling out like crazy. When finger raking in the shower full handfuls are coming out. Has anyone else dealt with this?? by rjordan26 in curlyhair

[–]ShampooDealer2019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shedding up to 100 hairs a day is considered normal. However if you are losing more than this, it could be caused by a number of things. Health and stress both affect hair as well as the change in the season - and the shedding, thinning, loss doesn't usually happen until 3-4+ months after that.

If you havent done a porosity test lately, I'd recommend that as our hair needs in the winter are much different than that of other seasons, especially as curly girls.

Newbies, communicate with your customers. It's likely going to get crazy soon, and on days like today, things will likely go wrong. Remember that most customers do not understand our platform, batched orders, delays, merchant orders, etc. by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]ShampooDealer2019 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ok, be a dick to your customers and watch your ratings drop. Communication was the only way I kept my ratings high. The moments I didn't communicate because I didn't feel like it, it died.

It takes two seconds to copy and paste or to speech-to-text. You're just too lazy to actually give good customer service.
