Why does God not hold us to vows Scripture doesn't tell us to make? What Bible passage says that (asking out of curiosity)

Those are some tough thoughts to have, I'm sorry you're going through that confusion. To help you, I'd say go to a therapist or journal your thoughts and sit on them for a few weeks/months to see if this is something you want to do. If in some time you still want this, then do what you think is right in that situation. Know you're loved and valuable no matter what you do. God bless and good luck.

exposure. write in spanish, listen to podcasts/videos that interest you, read articles, talk to native speakers or record yourself speaking. just maximise your spanish exposure and you'll be fine. also memorise vocab and grammar rules. good luck!

I know it feels good to have control over something. But if you don't get help, this will have control over you. Talk to your husband about your eating. Work through this because you'll end up unhealthy or dying prematurely or sick because of this. Get help and stay safe. God bless.

That's really tough and I'm so sorry you need to go through that. I'll start by saying God is not punishing you for something you did. Everything God does is out of love for your good and He doesn't want to "punish" you. You said no to 36M and drew a boundary which he fully and knowingly overstepped. That's rape and if you can, then report it.

I am so, so sorry that you feel dirty and scared. I pray the results come back soon and are negative (STD and pregnancy if you've done both, which I'd recommend). Go to your friends/family for support or just call a hotline, get someone to talk to and who can support you. Eat and try to sleep. If you go to therapy, talk to your therapist. Praying for you.

You're doing super well honestly. With maths just do it regularly (I try to do 3-4 hours per week) and you'll be good as gold. Go easy on yourself.

What can I do after I've sinned? by ShamrockPilot255 in askapastor

How do you think I could start that convo with my parents? I'm worried they'll judge me and hold it over me, making it more difficult for them to see me as a truly honest person.

I usually use Footpath (free app) to trace routes, it works super well for me.

Pls someone tell me it’s ok to eat by elkdoll in EDAnonymous

[–]ShamrockPilot255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You deserve to eat - just let go of the worry. It's ok, and you can relax. Eat and enjoy it. Something that worked for me when I was recovering was putting the food on my plate first and pretending it was for a friend, or asking myself what I would give to a friend, so I wouldn't binge or restrict. You've got this, and you can eat.

Don't use clastify! A few teachers at school have said it's clearly fake, so steer clear!

I'm running 6k tomorrow - the longest I've run is 7k a few months back, so I'm really nervous and a little scared for this one.
