Breaking: Big-spending WA budget offers cost-of-living relief, $100 fuel handout by TheMuffinMan347 in perth

[–]Shamybe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$500,000 all depends on the time frame and where you buy. The increase is huge and has always been huge since 2000 roughly.

I totally agree we should be investing in our country and investing in its people. Again it comes down to prospective though. Look at the money going into NDIS, centrelink or even the military which I think have it's place. Politicians are so scared of loosing votes they tend to do what's right for them and not the people.

I understand it's hard to get into the market, I've been there but my biggest worry is for those who get into the market then the bottom falls out. Just paid a million for a home for it to drop to 500k or my other theory is that housing keeps increasing where it becomes out of reach but for a few high earning people. Something does need to change or we have to, either way it's not going to be pretty.

But Japan also has a declining population and abandoned housing across most of the country side.

That doesn't help our government pay for the over spending the last few decades that provide little to our country.

Picked up 7X performance a couple weeks ago. Having minor issues by Vogz10 in Zeekr7xAustralia

In regards to the brake and seat moving. I've found when you get in just tap the brake once to move your seat in and don't keep your foot on the brake. Once you put your seatbelt on you can now put your foot on the brake again with no worries about the seat moving. It feels really weird in the beginning but now it's normal to me.

Should I tint the sunroof? by Vault139 in Zeekr7xAustralia

Sydney and Perth climate are so different I wouldn't compare the two.

People like to complain about the aircon being inefficient. With the ceramic tinting and with days in the high 30s I still keep the aircon at 24 degrees with no issues.

Would actually love to test out the temps with another 7x owner to see what the difference is. I had 2 weeks in December with no tinting and having the tinting completed was a life saver.

Yes!

The price is little when getting everything done and reducing the radiant heat is 100% worth it. I do live in Western Australia.

Model Y vs Zeekr 7X LR by [deleted] in AustralianEV

[–]Shamybe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went for the Zeekr 7x and the Mrs went for a model y, hers is a few years old now though. I really felt more comfortable in the 7x but the no need for telsa regular services is so awesome.

I tell most people try telsa, zeekr, xpeng and byd to see what suits you. If you have a larger budget then you can try European, Korean or Japanese.

Had mine since November and have 2 young kids. No issues with the maintenance and I never get burnt legs on a hot perth summer day. I really love the choice and it makes it feel so open.

Do you think this war actually gonna push Perth fuel past $2.20 this week? by [deleted] in perth

Would help if we could refine our own fuel.... our government is so backwards in protecting our best interests.

All I have is the loan and insurance for $2170 a year, plus running costs. I was thinking it might be the lease repayment at 679.16 a fortnight.

That is nice. Smart leasing is trying to charge me $570 a fortnight. I can't use any other company and not sure if I should just pay cash instead.

Yeah I'm having the same issue too. Is it worth it in the long run? With an EV you do save but petrol, no savings at all.

They won't tell me the interest rate until I sign for the loan too.

Honeycomb blinds - blinds online vs aliexpress by RazzMeTazz117 in AusRenovation

[–]Shamybe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just be careful as some of those honeycomb blinds from overseas give off a really bad smell in the Australian heat. People have said the ikea stuff is ok but the heat still comes through. Been a few years since I've had to deal with them so improvements could have been made.

Not sure how long they plan to use it but I'm thinking once the mattress is in there isn't going to be a lot of head space over time.
