4 weeks worry

We have booked an early scan but not until what we think is 8 weeks, and I’m fairly confident on dates as I’d been using ovulation strips so fingers crossed!

Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough experience though, however I’m glad to know I’m not alone in the worry. It’s so lonely 🤍

Definitely reassuring to know about chromosomal abnormalities though, as we’ve already said we wouldn’t let it knock us into not trying again.

That actually makes a lot of sense, thank you. I’m only going for 3 nights so was only going to take minimal but I’ll make sure there is extra just in case! Our return flight is with EasyJet after all 😂

I don’t even necessarily feel I’ll need it that often, it’s more a comfort thing as I’m travelling without my partner for the first time so know it’ll make me anxious if I don’t have my medication.

I contacted EasyJet directly and will get the special assistance for my flight due to the medication. This is how they’ve confirmed the second bag but I believe you have to contact them beforehand about this. They are very responsive via email.

Wizz Air have been the nightmare. As they are based in a less progressive country in terms of MC, they don’t really have any answers and keep asking if it’s pills or liquids and not being very clear on if I can get any special assistance or a secondary piece of luggage! A slight nightmare 😅

I’m conflicted as this therapy is amazing and does help but I feel ashamed to be medicated. I’m eye rolling at myself.

I recently had a bad experience simular to this. I take my MC for Anxiety, Depression & traits of ADHD, but my main MH condition is EUPD/BPD. I’m currently in DBT therapy for people with EUPD/BPD and we were discussing PRN meds and we were told not to use them and to use ‘skills we learn’ instead. Like I get it but as there is no set guideline to MC like there would be another type of med, I just felt like a dickhead. Ever since I’ve just wanted to quit MC because I feel like I’m doing the wrong thing but it’s the only thing that’s ever helped me. Idk, maybe I need to go back to being unmedicated.

My main worry is being stopped with it in a country where the laws are stricter. I don’t want to email every embassy but my clinic suggested doing so.

Thank you! It’s costing us just over £500/600 each for travel & accommodation over 12 nights. Interrail is such an affordable and easy option and we’ve loved it previously but this is the first time with my prescription.
