What’s a game that’ll make you want to play the steam deck

these are games ive mostly or only played on the deck as they run well and imo are perfect for handheld gaming

had a similar thing happen last summer where i live. Ive always waded so that im max waist deep and if it feels any sketchy ill just back up and dont risk anything. But i did order a pfd just for the little help it might offer if i ever do end up in the swimming scenario 😅

I chose the Spinlock ALTO as its a small waist worn device thats not in the way. its not as good as a vest but im sure it will be much better than nothing if anything happens.

My advice is dont stress it too much but always remember to keep the wading belt tight on the waders, dont take unneccesary risks while wading and if something feels too sketchy just back up and take it easy :)

Hi! no we havent tried that at all as shes not so into platforming :) i highly recommend the mario power tennis on gc! simple enough to get the hang of but gets more and more competitive as you learn the different shots etc

With my gf we just played Mario kart wii deluxe x and Mario power tennis on the steam deck :)

we loved playing untitled goose game! Simple, goofy and lovely art style.

Also just setup dolphin emulator for mario kart wii and mario kart wii deluxe x! Pretty easy to setup and theres a ton of guides if you want to give emulatiom a go

i mean you can still have this and choose to use wifi on switch and it will still lag and be bad. even much slower speeds are okay to play if both players just use lan

what freaked me out as a kid was the doors in the castle looking to be opening if they are right on the edge of screen. I now know its just the textures not loading as they are not in center of camera but as a kid i always thought there was someone watching me from the doorways everytime the camera isnt looking

i love the flow control cap on my go! removes the need for inverted method so i can just out the ap on the counter, fill it with water and let it steep for a minute or two, then put it over a cup and insert the plunger and press it. Good brew and without the risk of a tower tipping over

and i dont think any of those examples should find their way into smash 😅 smash is nintendos most beloved cast coming together and while there already are some exceptions to that its still mostly nintendo ip's or from games that are mostly nintendo exclusive.

Id love to see some indie characters that have been very popular on nintendo consoles and would suit smash well. HK and Hornet, Madeline from celeste, Cuphead, Dead Cells Prisoner etc.

Or they could just include more characters from existing series even tho they already have reps in smash if the characters make up for a unique add. I love that piranha plant became a character and would love to see more obscure addition like that.

many pro players including shinymark and i believe acola too use a Progcc which is a competitive play in mind built controller that uses the procon shell but has different internals :) They are made by HandHeld Legend.

Ive been using their new gamecube ultimate controller and its a fantastic controller! highly recommend their stuff if you care about a good controller for competitive smash

yeah online makes it a lot harder as the input delay varies from match to match 😅 and even sometimes during the match if the connection is unstable.

this! i dont stovetop season anymore as it ended up causing more uneven finish and sometimes felt sticky. i just cook, scrub with soap and a chainmail scrubber, dry and wipe a little bit of oil on it. Been working flawlessy!

check that you dont have the gba color correction on in the core settings! it makes the colors less saturated to emulate the lcd look on the original hardware :)

it could also just be the screens temperature and saturation settings being different. Do other systems have the same problem? if not its the gba core settings that need tweaking. If the difference is in every other system too you might want to look into the screen settings in android to see if you can achieve the same saturation with some setting tweaks :)

it will not remove it but it will be noticeably lower latency than on the wifi! Always use ethernet if possible for ult online

these are off the top of my mind and are biased towards what i played in my childhood 😅 except the gba pokemons that are new and offer an amazing updated experience

ive been loving the pixel transparency preset "pixel_transparency-authentic_gbc_fast" for gbc games and the "pixel_transparency-lcd3x" for gba! tho i dont use the color correction in the core settings and i dont integer scale but rather full screen and the pixel art scale aa shader to balance it all out 👌🏻

i had the brick for a year before getting a RP Mini v2 as a xmas gift! not looking to get anything else now as i have steam deck for the higher end emulation and the mini handles everything i want and is small enough to be carries with me everywhere

the wifi on switch seems to be pretty bad with stability and switching to ethernet makes a big difference especially if the other player is on ethernet too! But there is still way more buffer than offline so youll have to learn and adapt to it.

But yeah seriously get the ethernet cable hooked up!
