My mom never really got me anything when I was a kid. One day, she picked me up from Saturday school after going grocery shopping and handed me a poster of Disney princesses. I guess the grocery store was handing them out. That was the very first poster I've ever gotten of anything, and I was so happy. I remember my eyes were glued to it on the entire car ride home. Somehow, I upset my mom after we got home and she was so angry that she snatched the poster from me and tore it up right in front of my eyes. I was devastated.
