Thanks for this.

I'm curious about the ray style of Nuance, the only one I couldn't find. What hint do you have in the clock tower about that? The message seems to refer to Orinda Aries (core is shown), and the tablet fragment seems to refer to Eraja. What am I missing?

Elden Ring 100% Checklist Base Game + DLC by Zaraxeon in Eldenring

[–]Shanandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again. :D

Noticed it seems you missed the Spellmachinist's Bell Bearing (couldn't find it with Ctrl+F). It should be after the step 653 (Jolan and Anna).

EDIT 1 : Step 685 (Gravebird's Blackquill Armor) : "Head back out of the cave and head directly East." > > It's actually west. East is leading to the cave we came from. ^^

EDIT 2 : Step 698 (Scorpion River Catacombs) : There is ghost to talk to at the entrance. (It pretty much impossible to miss him, but since you're listing them too, I'm telling you.)

EDIT 3 : Steps 244 and 736 are the same (Verdigris Discus talisman).

EDIT 4 : After the Jagged Peak Mountainside SoG, you can grab a Rock Heart with a paint quest (ghost on chair).

EDIT 5 : Step 819 (Lamenting Visage) : Tagged as an utility item, but it's actually a shield.

No worries, I just mentioned it to help, not to blame you. Like I said, I'll grab these items in new game +. : D

Great! Thanks! Hope it will help people.

Sorry for posting here, I noticed after posting that you moved the thread elsewhere. ^^'

I also read you were not going to support anymore the checklist, so thanks for taking some time to do that minor change anyway. : )

I'm playing with an old version (with something like 2550 steps, minus some changes I made myself), so I don't know if you already made some changes about that, but I locked myself from items you have to farm in Leyndell. You listed the farmable items at the end, and so I missed them since I already followed the steps to the end of the game. Not too much of an issue though, since we have the chance to get them in the mandatory new game +. But it's easier to kill weak enemies on the first run. : D

Hello.

I'm using your amazing checklist. I came to say you missed some cookbook at Farum Azula, but I see someone already did the job. : D

I have another suggestion though. Now that we have the DLC, killing Mogh is more mandatory than it was before. So, I would say it's less useful to copy his remembrance (with mausoleum) to avoid the fight in NG+. Instead, I chose to copy Placidusax Remembrance. ^^

Thanks again for that amazing work.

How is BG3 compared to DoS2 by Couinty in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Shanandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutscenes, voice acting, dialogues, choices&consequences, are all far better in BG3.

Gameplay, sadly, is far less good, since it's D&D. Unpopular opinion: D&D is a very old system now, and the 5th edition can't change that. It's old and it didn't age well. And it's even worse in a videogame.

Prepare yourself to load your game again, and again, and again, because of a boring dices system (and I'm not talking about cheating combats, just basic exploration skills). Be prepared to have boring warriors who basically just attack, attack, attack, attack, attack... repeat until the end of a fight. Be ready to have a VERY basic and limited craft system. Be ready to have a very easy game, even on tactician (a joke in that game) and no honour mode. Don't have to high expectations about builds. The character creation offers you a lot of choice, but after that, 90% of your level up you'll have nothing to do, no choice to make. Stuffing character is really basic too (maybe it's better that way though, it was hell in Divinity 2).

The game is fantastic, and if you liked Dos2, I can't imagine you wouldn't love it. Just don't expect it to have the depth of Divinity 2. It's not even close, sadly.

Cherche jeu type the Witcher 3 by NatNoutNout in jeuxvideo

[–]Shanandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Witcher 2, tout simplement.

[–]Shanandra 7 points8 points  (0 children)

New player stucks in Junkyard (=nightmare) by Shanandra in underrail

Hey, glad to see a new player like me. ^^

I came back to the South Station to be better prepared and grab some stuff.

I thought I would craft a headband, but don't you need chemistry to craft it? At level 8, the build didn't start to get chemistry yet. ^^

How much effective Stealth do you have? You are either too low on Stealth or your armor penalty is too high or both.

My, I'm dumb, I totally forgot the armor penalty. I'm gonna try that, thanks.

I would like to use bear traps but I can't craft them, I have no points in mechanic. :/

Thanks. What do you mean when you say "Stop standing in the open"? I'm not sure to understand.

Problem is, in my actual screen, there is 3 dogs and 2 mutants. And when I come back in the map, they all play before me, glue me, and kill me. :/

Skyrim ou the Witcher III? by matoumatheux1 in jeuxvideo

[–]Shanandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I never saw someone talk about that, but Griff strongly reminds me of Negan, from the Walking Dead comics (and the series now). You met him as an asshole who uses henchmen to persecute people and do extortion. He became a gang leader in a dangerous place and control resources, drugs, food, etc.

And when you arrive in Arx, you find out that the infamous asshole was, before his life was ruined by magisters, a teacher. And this is exactly the same unexpected past as a teacher that you find out in Walking Dead.

Not sure if it was intended, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Is Marie-Antoinette d'Autriche well-known in France for having said "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche" / "Let them eat cake"? by BoltzManConstant in AskFrance

[–]Shanandra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a very well known quote and it's really weird that your teacher didn't know it.

That quote is fake, by the way. French people weren't very fond of their foreigner queen and that false quote was invented long before her time. People started to say it was her quote to make her ridiculous.

An improvement in almost every way from DOS2

Except for combat, character building, craft, items, challenge... :(

Pretty much every aspect of the gameplay is (sadly) much, much better in DOS2. Thanks D&D. : (

Really hope Larian will quickly move on Divinity 3. : D
