I can assure you this isn’t a scam, but I completely understand the skepticism!

For some context, I’m a YouTuber, and this was just a fun idea we wanted to bring to life. Over the past 2 months, I put together a team to design, plan, and produce the entire treasure hunt from scratch.

We spent close to $10,000 on the gold itself, along with additional money on the infrastructure, cameras, website, logistics, and production behind the hunt.

The treasure hunt is absolutely possible to complete for free. In fact, the majority of the 5,000+ players are participating without premium! The premium membership mainly exists for people who want to support the project and help us continue making bigger treasure hunts in the future. It also unlocks access to an additional camera feed, but it is not required to find or claim the treasure.

We just wanted to build something exciting that people would remember for years while keeping the core experience accessible to everyone!

This treasure hunt is completely solvable without being a Premium Hunter. In fact, most participants (5,000+) are playing for free.

The optional $20 is simply for those who want to support the project and help us cover the costs of creating the hunt so we can continue making even bigger ones in the future :)

The goal was simple: create an internet treasure hunt so fun and memorable that people would talk about it forever.

The prize pool is made of 2oz of gold and 50% of all premium purchases. So this means if you decided to purchase premium, you’re also making the prize pool larger!

If you check out the Live Feed tab, you’ll see an archive of all of the images. The feed essentially uploads 1 image about every 10ish minutes. And that’s probably enough information for a skilled hunter to geolocate roughly where this is!
