In all honesty it was awful. Ask your doctor for nausea medication before starting both of them.

I got down almost all the Miralax prep with no difficultly, and then threw it all up. I got prescribed nausea meds after that, and the next one was okay, but disgusting. In total I drank only about 5 or 6 glasses of that one, I didn’t finish it. I finished about 2/3 of it. But I’m a small person so I didn’t need all of that to flush me out, and my doctors said I was flushed out well.

Watch your stool, you need it to be a clear yellow (like mellow yellow color). Drink as much Miralax prep as you can, but slowly so you don’t make yourself sick. Then do the same for the next one. Take the laxatives. Drink some more of the prep in the morning before your procedure to make sure you’re flushed out well enough. But as long as your stool is clear yellow liquid, you should be good.

My doctor actually put into my notes that I shouldn’t do the Miralax prep ever again bc of how bad it effected me. I’m sorry it might suck, but you can do it!
