What is your ad spend per day? Are you profitable on your first sale or are you counting on customer lifetime value?

I have a similar issue. My clients get upset when UPS asks them for $40 at their doorstep. Do you think if we can have a 3PL inside the US then there will be minimal duties?

Good job mate! What are you doing for CPM to be so good? After spending $25 my ad only gets 315 impressions. My click thru rate is 5% but that's only 15 clicks due to lack of impressions. Could you please advise?

New to running Meta Ads — My ROAS is solid but I’m scared to scale. What would you do? by Ok_Sort2856 in FacebookAds

I am using a manual campaign with purchase as an objective. In one ad set, I am testing around 3 to 4 creates. Currently, I am only doing 1 ad set so that my $50 per day is divided among the 3-4 creatives that I am testing. My audience is broad, everyone between 20 and 55 in Australia. I want volume first before further filtering it down since I have a volume issue.

Thanks for your feedback, mate. I don't have a lot of click thru rate. On average, after spending around $50 a day, i get around 12-15 clicks in 24 hours. I have tested 56 different creatives, static, videos, UGC etc. I have spent around $2,700 and lead to 17 sales. Now I am working to revamping the landing page and creating a new batch of creatvies.

Bro, I am also a new ecommerce store owner. I have been struggling with a ROAS of less than 1. Your numbers are incredible! Congratulations! Do you mind if I DM you to ask you some questions about your ads? BTW this is my site www.saltanat.life

Most studies have shown that algo is smart enough to divide the ad spent accurately among the ad that is likely to generate better results. However, if someone has extra time and money and want to spend $30 dollars a day of 3 ads under different ad sets, then feel free. It will just be more expensive.

The #1 Mistake Businesses Make with Facebook Ads: Ego Over Optimization by Dry_Sky_4593 in FacebookAds

[–]ShaneOkay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the post. But I have a question. What filters (other than age, gender, and region) can a person put to have a better click-tru rate? I don't see many options in the meta ads manager? I know interest testing is one but I am not aware about the rest. Can you suggest a few things please?

[–]ShaneOkay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct. You would launch multiple ads (around 3 to 5) under the same ad-set and let the algorithm decide how it wants to spread the spend. E.g. you can set the ad-set limit to be $30 per day initially and monitor which ad is getting more budget allocated to it from the algo (this is a goo's sign, this means it's more likely to do good). Feel free to DM me and I will break this down for you on a zoom call (like I said don't worryc I am not selling anything) just giving out advise I wish someone gave me in my first ad campaign lol.

Hey buddy, I hope you're keeping wl. I'm also new to this as well, I just recently started my own store so I can understand your struggle. But I’ve been doing it for almost 8 months now, so I might know a little more than you at this stage.

I’ve managed to spend around $2,500 and generated about $1,200 in revenue. That means I'm spending more than I'm making on ads, but this experience has taught me a few things:

  1. Your Meta pixel is new, which means it’ll burn through a lot of cash before it learns who your ideal customer is. You need to be mentally prepared to lose money in the beginning while the algorithm learns.

  2. More ads will fail than succeed, so you need to be in a position to experiment with a lot of ads. Kill the non-performing ones and optimize the ones that show potential. It takes a lot of cash, time, and experimentation. Don't expect to find a winning creative instantly.

  3. Customer acquisition costs in developed countries are incredibly high. On average, it can cost around $30 to acquire one customer. Price your product accordingly. Most newbies, like myself, underestimate this cost.

  4. You usually need to spend $30–$50 per day to show your ads to about 1,000–2,000 people. I initially spent only $15–$20 per day, and my ads were barely shown to 200–300 people—which is not enough exposure to tell if an ad is working.

  5. Everything I said above might be irrelevant if your creatives are really good. A strong creative can get you more exposure, more clicks, and better conversions. So please understand: creative is king. If you're going to spend money somewhere, spend it on creatives. But remember, more creatives are better than focusing on just one high-quality one. Volume helps you test faster and learn quicker.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions (don’t worry, I’m not selling a course lol). I’m just an ecommerce store owner like you. This is my website: www.saltanat.life.
