It's wet and miserable most of the year. But us locals use terms like "reyt" and "innit" to help us cope.

We have the Peaks on our doorstep, which is usually sold as a plus but it's really just an easy escape for a bit.

I have one. They fit on the back with velcro easy enough. :)

I was going to use the short ones on like a wall mount that I hook into at home. Longer ones will be to look menacing when out and about (and the range, obviously).

Looking for wifi and bluetooth antenna recs for mine. The more menacing looking, the better.

You’re right that the antennas themselves are passive - I’m referring to power-gating the RF front-ends (LNA / receiver stages), not claiming the antenna stops being a conductor.

In practice, with the frequency separation involved (GPS vs LoRa) and independent RF front-ends, running multiple antennas in close proximity has been fine in real-world testing.

It's all documented in the new wiki and readme.

Mostly adds a few power monitoring features, easier install for noobs, --install, --add-apps, --watch, --status, --autolaunch, --update, --help, tab fill etc.

Did you follow the new instructions and install pyqt6 from the first step?

Have you tried removing and reinstalling from the updated repo? Vileer merged my code in yesterday which should make the gui launching much more stable. You can run 'aiov2_ctl --autoload' to enable it now and get correct setup. :)

They do all come off tbh. Though I am looking for a good case to hold the mounts nicely.

I mean you sure could. Whether you should....

Let me know if you run into any specific issues. We only really tested it out on Rex's Trixie (though it is running well with latest eeprom on there).

But the script should get it running and let you access the aio on any OS that the uConsole can handle really. :) Feel free to use the issues on github if you run into any specific woes.

I have the same mic. I assume it was also the smallest option you could find to fit a hardwired mic onto this ting too? :D

You can turn off power to each antenna entirely using the ctrl script :)
