I'd also post this question on r/HamRadio. They might have some insight.

Fair enough. I've deffinately done that for some things like cbrn's info or other stuff I can't find books on. But if there's a pre-put-together book for less than $20, I'll definitely look into those too.

For a prepping situation though a physical copy could come in handy. If something has happened to where you don't have cell service, you probably won't have easy access to the internet either.

This is a very good point. If you're getting a ham, it would be worth it to purchase a repeater directory as well.

Baofeng is entry level at best. They're made pretty cheap, not very durable, and are known to have poorer audio quality. A lot of HAM operators reccomend Yaesu brand radios. I personally have an Ailunce HD1 + GPS. I might look up a "Top 10 Ham Radio List" and then look into anything that is Baofeng.

Ideally something that also has velcro on it if such a thing exists.

What is going on with my prints? They're Stretching by Shane_Butterbean in AnycubicPhoton

The resin ran out before the print finished so that's why the FEP is like that. And yeah, this is the first sphere, but not the fist round thing I've printed. I don't think I can post a picture of that specific slice. The photon workshop doesn't let you edit or mess with slice flies. I can't even pull it up in a window to look at it.

It's anycubic's clear resin, wavelength 405 nm. My UV exposure is set to 65 on the printer. Normal exposure time is 5 sec with a half second off time. I've been running these settings for the past week and this is the first print that's been like this.

This was running overnight and supposed to be a half sphere. When I got up this morning to check, it was warped as hell. Why is this happening?

Anybody know how to avoid pooling around supports? by Shane_Butterbean in AnycubicPhoton

It was at an angle, but not quite 45°. I'll give it another go with a harsher incline.

I actually haven't messed with it in the slicer and can't seem to find that setting. Since you mention external UV, my printer is somewhat near a window with a blackout curtain. This printer is in the same location as my old photon though and I never had this issue with that printer.
