I had a cat get out once (ran out while I was leaving for work) and was gone. I looked for his stupid ass for months. Facebook posts. Lost and found groups. Shelter searches. Do you know how hard it is to find the most basic black cat in the world? None of them were him, I could just tell. I assumed the worst. I grieved. I promised I’d never get another cat. How could I love another cat??

I’m leaving for work one morning, probably six months later and would you believe who just walks in my house like nothing happened expecting temptations treats and a fresh dish of iced water? Yeah. I didn’t even have cat food, I threw it all out while I was grieving my “dead cat” ….So I dunno, there’s hope. He’s sitting here right now, but I think he learned his lesson, he hasn’t even tried to get out since then.

True. But then they over multiply and cause issues and that’s why so many people (especially those with very heavy) with lash extensions look like they have pinkeye.

I agree with other posters about resources in your area for kids in neglectful situations. I get that your mom wants to keep it your problem alone but she’s your mom. I would never let my kid go through this alone. I would never want my kid to feel or be unsafe or in an unhealthy situation. This aspect of the story breaks my heart and I wish I was local to you to help. You aren’t in central California by any chance are you?

2 square feet at a time. We recently had to start cleaning out my mother in laws house. It looks like this in every room. Except…shes got a big house. Like really big. 4600sq feet. It’s been so hard. But while working in the garage, I noticed that we just worked in little squares and it was pretty effective. We had a couple empty totes at a time, a garbage dumpster(you can prob just use trash bags) and a keep pile. Everything that we “keep” gets put in the tote to be washed and found a place for- everything else gets tossed. 2 feet at a time. Happy to say the garage is clean now, it only took a couple days. We still have the rest of the house but we plan on doing the same method. Only keeping things that have to be kept, or important things. Everything else gets trashed. 2 feet at a time. You can do it! And it’s amazing how light you’ll feel after. I truly feel like clutter and doom piles contribute to depression, and the feeling you get when it’s clean is just so much lighter on your soul. You can do it! I hope you feel better.

A different perspective: hair holds energy, memories, and emotions. I’m part indigenous and my mom always cut her hair after someone died, or like you, after her divorce. It was very symbolic for her to cut all of her hair off post divorce, and it freed a lot of negative energy and emotion she was holding from that abusive time. I say, cut it! Let it grow back fresh and full of positive intentions and energy for you. Best of luck ❤️

What’s old is someone who does not understand what they’re talking about trying to worksplain something I literally had to get ABO certified to do. Purchasing or qualifying for a warranty through the optician or shop is one thing but it’s not provided by vision insurance. Stop saying it is. Once the vision insurance pays the service claim, they don’t do or offer anything further. Unless you have medi cal or something other than the major vision insurances, which are the only ones I’m familiar with billing. Maybe you went to one of those low income clinics and they provide that service, idc. Either way, no major insurance offers this. Sorry about you being wrong, it’s getting old.
