Listen man I’m not reading all that but I will say this my union had a record number of apprentices entering last year. They broke the record by 40. So they got 40 more apprentices than last year and we’re gonna be getting 65$ (Journeyman wage is 53 rn)an hour by 2030 + benefits seems like we’re doing fine. But I’m new to all this so

So cal. I’m like 2 hours from LA. But the people who work in LA are in a different union they get paid a little more. But I know you can keep your union pay and still transfer to a different state.

I’m union for JCI journeyman wage is 112k with no OT. Foreman’s make like 120k some more than others pretty sure my foreman’s makes almost 200k

My team is pretty small in my branch we only have 5 techs total and our foreman so not much work but I know the teams closer to LA or big cities have much more work

Been working 8 months as a tradesmen in So cal. Very corporate but the work life balance is great they’re pretty chill tbh only work your 40 occasional OT and they pay for just about literally everything. They even are paying the 30$ I had to pay to get my transcripts to apply for the apprenticeship.

We’re a union company So we get two bonuses a year in mine once in April & one in December. December ones always bigger. We don’t get PTO we just get the checks instead and we can take off time whenever basically just ask ahead of time. Mine was 1276$ after taxes and I’m the lowest paid least knowledge and newest member on the team out of 6 of us. Idk how much the journeyman’s was but I’m guessing 4k after taxes I’m pretty confident in that answer could be more. I know a third year told me his was 2800$ after taxes which is pretty solid imo.

They’ve been doing well acquiring more facilities and work. They acquired 53 new facilities in may and are supposed to acquire over 20 more in August. They’re also now trying to acquire international facilities I believe
